Ringo stood in his medium sized bathroom, drying off from a fun day at the beach with Whitney, his girlfriend of a couple years and counting. After getting rid of the remaining water droplets that covered his skin, he walked to his bedroom looking for something dry to wear. He turned his head side to side, his damp hair pressing against his face. Walking oout of his room, ruffling his dark hair with a towel, and looking around the room he asked, "Babe, have you seen my-" He looked toward the couch with a slight double take. There she sat, cozily, with her swim shorts and his white t-shirt over her suit. She turned and met his gaze. "..what?" She asked him sweetly. Little did she know that this caused his insides to completely melt; but at the same time he couldnt think of anything sexier. His eyes studied her features; her dark brown waves were still a bit damp and hung somehow perfectly below her collarbones. Her equally as brown eyes seemed to sparkle every time he looked at them.. to him, she was perfectly his.

"..Ringo..?" She chuckled, her eyebrows now raised from the lack of an answer..and the strange gaze coming from his face. He snapped out of it, luckily, it only lasted a few seconds..or so he hoped. She looked down at the shirt. "Oh, this? I'm sorry, I just found it laying around and it looked comfy..so I put it on." She got up from the couch, lazily walked to Ringo and stood on her toes to give him a kiss. Almost immediately, he put his arms around her waist and pulled her in for another.

"God, you're lovely.." She couldn't help but grin at his words. He wasn't always like this, mushy and all. But she didn't mind one bit.

"Well thank you." Still enveloped in his hug, she tapped his nose that she'd grown to love and giggled. "So are you!"

He chuckled, pulling her close. "I mean it, love. You're beautiful. And you look absolutely gorgeous in my shirt.." She gave him a slighly confused look, but smiled nonetheless; what could she say, she was flattered.

She ruffled his hair and couldn't think of any words to say except, "You are just too sweet." He smiled and said, "Remember that."

Before she could get the word 'what' out, Ringo picked her up and put her over his shoulder while he ran to the screen door that led outside.

He didn't stop laughing while she raised her voice, "Ringo..!! Wha-" She couldn't help but laugh a little as well. She lifted her head and noticed that they passed the deck and the table with the umbrella over the top of it. He was headed for the pool. She didn't like the fact that her almost dried hair and body was about to get drenched again.

He let her go a bit to allow a change in position of how he was carrying her; she ended up almost like a koala bear and held onto him tight.

He kept running, and playfully saying "Plug your nose, love!!" While she yelled "NOO!"

Of course this only made it more fun for him.

Within seconds they leaped into the air and plunged into the water.

Ringo was the first to come up from the surface. He wiped his hair from his eyes and shook his head back and forth like he does when he plays his drums.

"RICHARD STARKEY." Whitney came up, immediately ringing out her hair and also shaking the water out. She looked at him and to no surprise, he had the signature goofy grin on his face. She laughed and playfully splashed his face over and over. He paddled over to her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders and head, tucking her face into the crook of his neck.

"Shh..its okay, its alright love." He told her between her little protests. He released his grip, moving his hands down to her waist, and then to the middle of her bum. She cocked an eyebrow at him. "What?" He asked innocently. She moved his hand back up. "Cheeky.." She giggled and gave him a wink while resting her arms on his shoulders. She looked into his blue eyes and started to scan him with her light brown ones, almost like how he did to her back inside. She couldn't resist this loveable goofball.

"What?" A brief look of confusion was shown on his face before it was a smile.

A warm smile crept across her face, one that made her eyes sparkle. "I just love you." She said without a trace of hesitation.

Just the same, Ringo grinned and his insides melted once more. "I love you too, my darling girl."

He cupped her face with his hands and gave her the most wonderful of kisses; one that seemed to last for ages.

Her hands couldn't help but to tangle within his hair, she always loved to do so.

He slowly pulled away, keeping the same distance between their lips and said quickly to himself, "Perfectly mine."

She wasn't going to question him being cute; they closed the space between them again, smiling into their little kisses. Whitney giggled and pulled away, splashing him, and they made a mini war out of it. Her playful shrieks and their laughter could be heard by their next door neighbors. The rest of the day consisted of more laughing, making music and to no avail, snuggles by the fireplace. This was one amazing day with many more to come.
