"Welcome to our home. You can leave your shoes right here." Kris pointed to the empty bar where they can stack their shoes on.

Tao had rushed off to the kitchen to search for something to make. The two looked around, walking slowly as they did.

"Want to watch cartoons while we cook dinner?" Kris asked, grabbing the remote. "Please!" Huan smiled widely. Kris chuckled as he nodded at the young boy.

He turned on a random kid show before heading to the kitchen. Tao turned and flashed Kris a smile before placing some meat on the counter.

"Find anything?" Tao nodded and pointed to the meat. "They could have some of that tonight, we can also steam some veggies too."

Kris smiled as he nodded. "Perfect."

The two swiftly made the kids dinner. While Kris was cooking the last of the meat they sorted out, Tao grabbed plates and began to serve the two.

He put a decent amount of steamed veggies and some meat beside it. He walked over to the table and set the plates down.

He walked to the fridge and grabbed the apple juice and poured some in two cups.

Kris had turned off the stove and placed the cooked meat on the plate before walking to the living room to inform the boys.

"Dinners ready, come eat you two." The two jumped up and rushed to the table. "Smells good." Chen smiled, instantly eating.

"Tasty!" Huan smiled as he chewed.

"Tell Huan to chew with his mouth closed." Kris chuckled before turning to Huan.

"Tao said to chew with your mouth closed, it's not polite showing your chewed up food." Huan nodded and closed his mouth.

"How come Tao doesn't talk?" Huan asked once he had finished chewing.

Kris chuckled. "Well first, Tao can't really speak because he can't hear. He's what they called deaf." "So his ears don't work like mine?" Huan questioned with a little confused look on his face.

"Exactly." Kris smiled. "Then how do you talk to him?" He asked. "We communicate through sign language." Kris showed them a bit as he spoke to Tao.

"What's that?" They both asked. "Its a way to speak to people like Tao, you make gestures and signs with your hands. Its a different kind of language." Kris explained, the two kids nodding.

The kids soon finished eating. Tao grabbed the plates and placed them in the sink. "How about you two take a bath?"

Huan nodded with a smile along with Chen. "Lets go." Kris smiled, he turned to Tao. "I'm going to give them a bath." Tao nodded, "I'll go find some clothes."

Kris walked into the bathroom with the two kids and started to run the water. "Just leave your underpants on the sink. Tomorrow me and Tao will go and buy you some new clothes."

The two nodded as they got undressed. Kris carefully helped Huan inside the tub while Chen got in by himself.

"Do you have bubbles?" Huan asked. "No, should we get some tomorrow?" Huan nodded.

Tao then walked in with two of his shirts for the kids to wear since he was a bit smaller than Kris. "I'll go put their clothes in the wash."

Kris turned back to the two and smiled, watching Chen wash up his younger brother.

"How come you said Tao was your partner? You mean like a business partner?" Chen questioned, turning to Kris.

Kris chuckled. "No, he's my fiancée. I'm going to get married to him some time soon." "Married? Like my mom and dad?" Huan asked as he tilted his head to the side.

"Yup, just like them." "Do you love each other?" Huan question and Kris nodded. "Very much." Huan smiled before he continued to play with Chen.

After the two were ready to get out, Kris helped them out and dried them up. "This'll be a bit big on you okay?" He chuckled, helping Huan into one of Tao's shirts.

Huan giggled as he looked down at himself. "I like it." Chen had slipped the shirt on alone and gave Kris a gummy smile.

"You guys can share a room okay?" The two nodded as they followed Kris to the extra room.

Tao walked up behind Kris with a smile, watching the two kids climb into bed.

Tao walked in and helped the two get tucked in and comfortable in bed.

The two kids cuddled close to each other.

"Sleep tight. We'll be right next door okay?" The two nodded. "Tao said sweet dreams." Tao smiled as he waved.

Tao turned the light off and the two walked into their room.

"What should we do?" Tao signed, changing into his pajamas. "There isn't much we can do but to help them. I'll call the authorities tomorrow to see if their parents are looking for them. You'll be fine tomorrow right?"

Tao nodded as he got under the covers, Kris doing the same thing. "Yixing will be here tomorrow so you don't have to worry."

"Alright." Kris smiled, pressed a soft kiss to Tao's temple. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." He replied, closing his eyes and relaxing in Kris' embrace.

After the two adult had fallen asleep, Huan had slowly opened the bedroom door and peeked into the room. He was about to walk in when his other brother had stopped him.

"what are you doing?" Chen whispered. "I want to sleep with Tao gege, he's very cuddly." Huan smiled.

Chen sleepily chuckled. "Okay, lets go inside." Chen held Huan's hand as they walked to the bed.

The couple were close but there was space in the middle. The two squeezed in without waking the two adults. They smiled at each other before finally falling asleep.
