Chapter 1

I had just started unpacking my bags from college. I had had just finished college and was looking for a place to settle down. I didn't have a place to stay until then so parents place it is. I was working on a research for my job when the door bell rang. My mom yelled for me to get it.
"Why do I have to do everything?" I mumbled getting up. Mom always kept a gun in the house since the break in. I pulled it out and walked to the front door. I checked to see who it was. It was a man, but it was no one that I knew. I slowly opened the door.
"What do you want?"
I said pointing the gun at him.
"Calm down I'm just her to talk."
I put the gun down.
"Is your mother here?"
"Yeah."
Just then she came down the stairs.
"I'm right here."
"Ah Ms. Worthington, I noticed that your in debt right now."
"What's it got to do with you?"
"What if I could make it all go away?"
"What's the catch?"
He walked over to her and whispered something in her ear.
"10 million, you can have her. Sweetheart go pack your bags."
"What just happened?"
"Your going with this man, so go pack."
"Did you just sell me for 10 million dollars!"
"I need the money sweetie."
I stormed off to my room and threw in the clothes that had token out the lugged the bags downstairs. He had two men waiting at the bottom of the stairs. They took my stuff out to the car. I looked outside to see a stretch limo.
"Bye mom."
I said before leaving the house. I got in the car and he sat down beside me.
"I never did catch your name?" He said smiling.
"I didn't throw it out there. It's Avalon."
"Such a pretty name. I'm Alexander."
"Thanks. Uh where are we going?"
"To my house."
"Let me guess you live in a mansion?"
"Yes mam."
"Does it have a pool?"
"Indoor and outdoor."
"Cool."
After a while we pulled into his drive way. He helped me out of the car. I thanked him and looked at the mansion.
"So where will I be staying?"
"I'll show you."
He walked inside and up the stairs to the last door in the hall.
"Here you go, my rooms next door."
"Thanks." I closed the door and sat on the bed. Then there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see the butler. He set my bags down and left. I dug around in my bags till I found my bathing suit. It was black bikini. I quickly changed and grabbed a cover up and a towel. I headed downstairs. Alexander was sitting on the couch reading a magazine.
"Hey Alexander where's the pool?"
"Outback."
"Thanks."
I walked out the back door and down a few steps to the pool. It was huge and had a few slides and diving boards. I sat at the edge and stuck my feet in. The water was warm. I got up and went to the diving board. I jumped off and dove head first in. I resurfaced and swam to the shallow end. I swam around for a while. I then heard someone shout and then a big splash. Alexander surfaced next to me.
"Really?"
"What?"
"Your so childish."
"So?"
I rolled my eyes and swam to the shallow end. I stood up and moved the hair out of my face. Having long black hair I knew should have tied it back earlier. He stood up next to me. The water slowly falling off his tan abs. He ran a hand through his hair. I just stared in awe. He eventually noticed.
"See something you like?"
"No."
I crossed my arms and turned around. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me.
"I know you do."
He kissed my neck. My breath hitched. He slowly moved down. I pushed him off me.
"Nice try hun I can't be seduced that easily."
I got out of the pool and dried off the headed back to my room.
