This is the story of Headwig(:
My best Donkey friend. In the cover page, I'm bititng his ear, as you can see(: He likes that. Alot.
Headwig was born November 19, 2011. I was out with family at a local diner called The Town & Country Inn. (Their food is delish) When you walk into the Town & Country Inn, there is a little machine with the claws that you can win stuffed animals. I decided to let my five year old brother, Christopher, play for me.
Last time he played, he won three prizes in one try. I never win anything when I play those. Cause I'm a fail at life. But that's ok. I like being a fail..........most of the time.
So my brother wins a donkey and an Elephant. He keeps the Donkey for himself, and gives the Elephant to my grandmother. I give the claw machine thingy a try, and win an ugly dog/bear creature thing. I was very dissapointed. Once again, I proved that I was a failure. I slumped away pretending to be happy with my sort of win.
''Look, I won a doggy,'' I told my mom. She stared at it and nodded. Awesome. Even my own mother hates it. Great. I took my brother's Donkey to take a closer look at it, and he told me we should switch. I didn't even think about it. I threw my dog/bear creature thing at him and gripped the Donkey.
As I drove to Long Island, I held my nameless Donkey. Then about two hours after I arrived home, I named it Headwig. (I named it like five minutes ago)
I love Headwig. He's my best friend. (Sorry Lissa)
True story.
That was my story on how Headwig came to be.
