Before I went to bed, I took a nice warm shower to calm down my nerves. I just stood there processing all events that happened today.
How will I tell them I'm got fired? Well they beat me? Yeah they probably will. I could always say, they needed to let people go for certain financial reasons. They'd make me search for another job.
I shook all my negative thoughts away and turned off the shower. I wrapped a towel around my hair and another towel around my body. Just as I stepped out my phone started ringing.
I ran to my room and picked up my phone sliding the green button to the right. I looked at the screen only to find it's an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"I'm proud of you, don't ever let anybody touch you and sorry for ruining your kiss." A deep male voice said.
"Hello? Who is this?" I ask panicking. Why am I suddenly receiving these calls. And the voice, it's so familiar.
"Just wait a little longer." The man said and hung up leaving me to think of who the hell it could be.
After changing into my sweatpants and an oversized shirt, I went to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was drifting off to sleep with one thought in my head.
What did he mean by wait a little longer?
The next morning I woke up feeling slightly better than the day before. That was until I realised that Aunt flow came to town. I got up and changed into a pair of Adidas sweatpants and a white t-shirt. I put my hair into a messy bun and left my makeup simple. I slipped into my Adidas superstars and grabbed my Nike sweater. Not giving one single flying fuck of how I look, I grabbed my backpack, keys, and phone.
I grabbed a water bottle and granola bar on the way. I opened the water bottle and took a long sip walking over to the car and unlocking it. I place my things down on the passenger seat and turn the engine on. Reversing out the parkway and heading to school. Another day of stupid people, stupid teachers, and stupid work.
I stopped at a red light and waited for a minute. Just as the light turned green and I was going to hit the pedal and zoom down the street., a car got right in front of me. I pressed the break as hard as I could and beeped the horn. I rolled the window down.
"Fucking dumbass, it's a red light. Haven't they taught you to not text while driving. Obviously not, go take driving lesson and come back when you learn." With that I zoomed down the streets. I huffed and rolled my eyes. I guess I'm not the friendliest person when I'm on my period.
As I entered the school doors, everybody stopped gossiping and looked at me. Some cheered and others rolled their eyes. I see the news went around fast. Figured.
I walked to my locker and entered the combination. Taking out my first two classes books and shoving the rest inside the locker. I shut the locker door a little to harder than intended earning glances from a couple of students who were passing by.
I walked to my homeroom and sat in the back where I usually sit. Since I didn't feel like reading nor doing extra work, I got out my phone. Just as the teacher finished taking attendance the bell rang for first period.
My math class was just three doors down my homeroom so I didn't have to walk much. Thank you lord.
My first two class passed by slower than ever, especially math. Mr. 60's kept calling on me every couple of minutes. Thankfully, I knew the answer and answered correctly.
