Today, I was all alone here in our mansion. I tried to contact my dad but he’s out of reach. My mom said she’s in Africa, looking for some kind of fossil. I didn’t realize I’m already late for school. I guess I have to do it on my own. Geez, I really miss my parents and I wish they were here to accompany me to the conference with parents tomorrow.

Anyway, before I start on how my high school life had been destroyed by a bully named Hans Stewart, let me describe him: Hans is a bully without any initiative to do his works. He’s the biggest of all the students here in the school. Not to mention, his blue eyes doesn’t match with his red dyed hair. He often wears a tuxedo and he also has minions in his back. They look like a gang in New York. He often give the wimps a wet willies or even atomic wedgies. But one thing’s for sure-I really hate this guy.

I was walking in the cafeteria today and trying to grab some lunch. But before I arrive in the cafeteria doors, Hans tried to stop me by blocking the entrance. His dead blue eyes were staring at me like he wants to turn me into a stone.

“You, I know you’re my classmate in Physics, do my assignment or else you want to prove that there’s a life after death.” He said to me and he smiled like he knows how to deal with me.

“Why don’t you do it, Hans? You only use your strength and money just to do all your dirty works.” I said. I wished that I just shut my mouth instead. But there’s no turning back now. Whatever happens, I hope my parents didn’t know what will happen today.

“Since when did you get your courage, Grace?” he said mockingly.

I didn’t respond to what he said to me. I want to tell him that he doesn’t have to me mean just to make others do his homework. I mean, does this guy actually have the word “please” in his own vocabulary? I wanted to pulverize him right now but I don’t want to make any troubles. I just looked him straight in the eyes.

“Ooh… I’m scared, Grace. What are you going to do, Grace? Stare me until I melt? I’m so frightened! Help me! Help me!” he said again. I could see that his minions were laughing, even him.

“Don’t assume that having a lot of guts will get you pass everything.” He said with his evil smirk.

I don’t understand what happened next. I just ran in front of him and punched him. Wow, that was unexpected. All I know is that one of his minions handed him a baseball bat and walked in front of me but I think I just did a self defense-unintentionally.

Hans flew 5 feet above me. I know, it’s unbelievable even me, I can’t believe it!

“How did he do that? He’s too fast.” One of his minions said.

I did a quick run out of the corridor after I recovered from a shock. I didn’t bother to eat lunch right now, and I didn’t go to my last subject today and I went straight to one of my favorite places in the world: the Orion Park.

Orion Park was one of the significant places for me because this is the place where my friends and I were hanging out when were kids. I remember the times when were running around here while our parents are too busy with their agendas together, they always meet up in Edinburgh castle and they dropped us here so that we won’t be bored. What a good old time, but thinking about these good old days makes me misses them so much. I was wondering if they still remember me, I heard that the three of them were in the same school. This means I was the one who got separated.

“Edmund Grace, is that you?” a girl asked me. I didn’t notice a girl in front of me. She was very familiar to me. Her blue eyes don’t match her brown hair. I almost have a heart attack when she asked me. I was in the middle of reminiscing the past and she suddenly shows up?

“Hello? Am I talking to my shadow? Are you Edmund Grace?” she said. Our face was so near with each other like five inches apart and my heart races a bit. Wait, I know this kind of feeling and her scent-smells like a rose in a garden. No, it can’t be. She’s Agatha Charles? No way!

“Why… Yes, it’s me. I’m Edmund Grace. How did you know? Is something wrong?” I answered and I looked away. It feels so awkward for me when our faces were so close.

I looked at her again; she was wearing a uniform from some kind of elite school. I think she’s cute in that uniform: Navy collar and a blue ribbon, her blue skirt was up to her knees, long socks matching leather shoes. I think she’s like a high school girl in a Japanese manga or something.

“Don’t stare at me like that. You’re in a big trouble right now; you have to come with me.” She said. Without hesitation, I agreed to come with her.
