You were heading to the field that you always went to, to be with your friend, Kiba Inuzuka. You found a tree and sat and waited, enjoying the evening breeze. You and him have been friends since you could remember. Slowly, your surroundings went dark as you felt your eyelids getting more and more heavier.
"Hey ____, you awake yet?" You heard from a familiar voice, it seemed so close too, you could also feel the warmth of another. "H-huh?" You groaned, half asleep. "If you don't get up then I can't promise what will happen to your sleeping form." Said none other than Kiba. You realized your head was in his lap and Akamaru was laying on top of you. Akamaru barks happily when he sees you now awake, and licks your face.
"Oh, hey guys, what's up?" you said sleepily. This made it look like innocence was taking over your body, as though a delicate lamb was now laying in his lap. This caused him to blush and look to his side. "Nothing...just waiting for an idiot to wake up" he said in a stubborn manner. "Who the heck do you think your calling stubborn, Mr 'I can walk to the hospital myself' or 'this kunai wound will eventually heal' hmm.." you said turning over in his lap. "But you were here alone ...asleep ...vulnerable" he said in what seemed like a whisper.
Your pov
He had a look in his eyes, though, it was hard to tell what it was.
"Um..____, w-*coughs* Mary me." He said blushing and looked into my eyes. He looked confused when he reached for my face. He wiped away the tears that I hadn't realized were slipping down my face. I couldn't stop smiling, I jumped from laying down and hugged him. "Of course I will" I say as he smiles and grabs the back of my head to pull us into a kiss. He layed me down on the grass, and stayed all night. 'The joy to be with the one I truly love' I thought to myself.
