All she could hear is her breath quickening and another persons footsteps. Her best friend footsteps.
She held her breath trying to keep quiet so she wouldn't find her.
A tear slipped through her eye as she heard the steps grow louder.
All she could remember was earlier in the day.
Flashback
Photoshoot
Very interesting for A'mari. She smiled as everybody waved trying to get her photo. A'mari walking in her sparkling diamond dress
Her bestfriend by her side.
Nobody really played attention to her best friend.
Maya
She was like a outcast. People didn't care about her existence. Only A'mari. But maya wanted more.
After the photoshoot. Maya suggested that they should go to her house and celebrate. A'mari of course said yes and they walked.
A'mari thought she wouldn't be harmful so she said she didn't need her body guards.
When they finally reached maya house they had a couple of drinks. And laughed. But that's when it started going south.
End of flashback
"Come on Mari I just want to play. This is supposed to be a celebration". Maya said holding her sharp knife in her gloves.
"You could trust me. Don't be scared. It will be quick".
"Why are you doing this!!! I thought we were friends!!". A'mari screamed
"I hated being the outcast. Everybody only cared about you and not me. You were in my way of my life to become famous. So I want your fame. I want to become popular. And if it has to take of killing my best friend. Then so be it".
A'mari let the tears flow. She never meant for this to come.
Maya finally found her and Mari screamed. Trying to fight back. And in that fast moment. A'mari found a knife in her chest. She fell to the ground. And watched as maya took off her gloves. Then took a guy out of her other closet and threw him next to her.
She then took his hands and rubbed them on the knife and dialed 911.
As A'mari eyes started to close. She heard a voice. It was grating. It said.
"I'll give you a second Chance at life on one condition".
And everything went black.
