*continuing flashback*
(fyi it has been like 2.5 months)
"yah soyeon just tell him you like him!! everyone knows how much he likes you it's so obvious. you can just tell by how he looks at you," said jihyo-one of my roommates.
"i would never. if he rejects me i don't think i would ever be able to see him again. plus im awkward like that-you should know,"
"but it's never too late to try to break out of your shell!! you've been spending more of your free time 'practicing' recently. we all know that you guys are actually hanging out. don't think we all don't know."
"whatever you only know because you walked in on us in the practice room that time."
"lies all lies. a ton of the guys know too!!"
i groaned. i know that he liked me but i wasn't going to tell him that I felt the same way.
"anyways i have to go to to practice and you should too. evaluations are coming up. i know you've been busy with school but you need to practice!!"
"don't worry I will I will. also have fun with your boyfriend!! but not too much fun," she said and winked.
i rolled my eyes and walked out. i walked to the elevator and pressed the button i pulled out my phone and saw that there were no new texts. it wouldn't be a lie to say i wasn't disappointed. i had been texting jb constantly ever since he gave me his number. he hadn't texted in the past few days and i assumed that he was just busy. i shrugged it off. i didn't have enough time to worry about that anyways. as much as i liked him i knew that there were priorities that i had to follow. i just assumed that he didn't like me.
i heard someone running, "please hold the door open!!"
i pressed the door open button and was surprised to see jb.
"thank you!" he said not immediately noticing it was me, "oh soyeon!"
"hi," i said and tried to carefully shrink into the corner of the elevator.
"what's up?"
"nothing."
"are you going to practice?"
"yeah."
"what are you going to practice?"
"dance."
"are you okay?" he said and walked closer to me.
"yeah i'm fine, why?"
"i don't know you just seem off," he said and put his arm around me.
"i've just been really stressed with evaluations that's all," i said not looking up at him.
the doors open and i started to walk out. i heard him walking behind me and i felt so strange and uncomfortable.
"soyeon wait!" he yelled and i turned around,"why are you leaving? i'm going to the company too, we can walk together!"
"oh sorry i guess i just didn't know that you were going," i said and looked down.
we walked silently toward the company in silence.
"yah soyeon you know i like you right?" he said and i stopped.
"what did you just say?"
"i like you. i thought you knew but i guess not. i don't know i felt like you had a similar feeling and i just thought that we could talk or something."
i just stood there surprised that he had said that.
"look i'm not trying to be rude but i just don't know what you want me to do right now," i said extremely confused.
