Chapter 7: Don't get arrested

*Jade's P.O.V.*

I was awoken from a door crashing shut and it startled me. I thought it was my dad coming to beat me. Warm arms were wrapped around me and pulled me closer to their chest. The person kissed me and whispered good morning in my ear.  I looked up to see it was Ashley and I smiled back at him.

"Hey." I said back, stretching.

"Andy wants you to get ready so you can sort everything out with your school." He said.

"Okay. When does he want me to get ready?" I asked.

"Probably as soon as possible. He just went out to smoke a cigarette so you'll have a few minutes." He said.

"Okay." I said, getting up.

I started walking towards the bunk area to get my clothes. I suddenly felt kinda awkward just leaving him so I turned around.

"Oh, uh, thanks for letting me sleep on you." I said.

He chuckled.

"No problem. It was my pleasure." He said, smiling.

I smiled back and walked into the bunk area to get my suitcase and get dressed. I grabbed a Bvb cut-off shirt I had made and a pair of jeans and I put them on in the bathroom. I noticed there were different kinds of cologne in the bathroom. I smelled a few of them and decided to spray a little of each on.

"Well, have to cover up my homeless stench somehow. Although, that shouldn't be a problem anymore."

I walked out of the bathroom and walked past Ashley, who was on the couch on his phone. I don't think he noticed me as I walked off the bus. I immediately saw Andy to my right.

"Hey." I said.

He had finished his cigarette and was on his phone but he still smelled of cigarette smoke, which bothered me a bit.

"Hey, sweetheart." He said, hugging me. "Ready to get this shit settled?"

"Yeah, let's go." I said.

We walked down the road a bit and arrived at my school. We entered the building and went through security and everything. Classes were still in session as Andy and I walked to the main office. He talked with my principal and explained the situation. Andy showed my principal all of the paperwork and he signed everything to transfer me. At the moment, I was being homeschooled online because Bvb is still on tour but when I move in with Andy and Juliet, I will probably go to public school.

"Okay, everything should be in place. You can go get your stuff from your locker, I will email your teachers and have Mrs. Olen get your other stuff that your teachers have." The principal said.

"Okay." I replied.

Andy and I walked out of the office and I started towards my locker. Andy was right by my side.

"I don't have much in my locker. I do need to get my school backpack from Mrs. Morgan though, and my trumpet from Mr. C."

"Okay. Lead the way, cause I've never been here before so I don't know where anything is." Andy replied.
