Nash takes in a deep breath as he stands in front of Cameron's apartment, he knows Cameron still loves him, Cameron made that clear earlier but he still has nervous butterflies in his stomach. It feels like the first time he and Cameron ever went out on a first date. He was a nervous wreck then and he is a nervous wreck now, he hopes everything goes well. He hopes their conversation ends in a reconciliation. Before his break up with Cameron he had scheduled a almost year long break from touring, he and Cameron had made plans to travel the world together, in private, as couple without an entire entourage accompanying him.

It was something that was Nash's idea, he can remember clearly as they bent over a world map that was spread on the floor and put pins on all of the places they had always dreamed to visit.

There's only six months left in his break before he begins to grind again and he doubts Cameron will feel comfortable traveling with him but he's perfectly happy to hole himself up with Cameron and make up for lost time.

He chews on his lips worriedly as fleeting fears pass by that Cameron will reject him, that Cameron will have grown tired of chasing someone who ignored his existence but he squares his shoulders. Cameron called him everyday for six months, he can lift his hand and knock on the door.

He does just that and he waits nervously for the door to open. He hopes Cameron is home but he's determined to wait at his door if he's not.

He's grown increasingly desperate to be in Cameron's arms again, to feel his lips against his and close his eyes so that he can lose himself in Cameron like he always has, like he always will.

The door opens after a few moments and a rush of air leaves Cameron's body when he opens the door to reveal the man he's missed so much, the person he's longed for and begged for.

He's finally here.

"Nash," he breathes and it's all he can say before Nash pulls him into his arms and connects their lips in a searing kiss.

All stress, all tension, all of the exhaustion instantly leaves Cameron's body and all he feels is bliss.

"I knew all I would need was one conversation with you, baby." He mumbles against Nash's lips, their lips make smacking noises as their kiss deepens and Cameron presses his body against Nash's, eager to be completely connected to the love of his life.

He feels no resentment towards Nash, he just feels happy that he finally got the chance to tell Nash his side. He's always believed that their deep connection would let Nash believe him, that all he needed was one opportunity and Nash would come back to him. He just never knew if he'd get the chance to actually do it, to plead his case with Nash but somehow fate found a way for them to meet despite Johnson's sabotage.

Nothing matters except the man in his arms.

When they part to breathe, Nash's cheeks are wet and his eyes glisten with tears.

"I'm so sorry," Nash's voice cracks with emotion as he searches Cameron's eyes. "I'm so fucking sorry, baby."

His body bends slightly as he buries his face in Cameron's neck and inhales the scent that's haunted him all of those months.

"It's okay, baby. I know... I know you did what you thought was right, I understand. It was practically irrefutable evidence presented by your best friend, I get why you reacted that way." Cameron murmurs sincerely because he does, he doesn't fault Nash for his reaction. It's the reaction any person would have towards the recording that was heard, the blame lies solely on one person; Jack Johnson.

Cameron is a fairly forgiving person and believes a lot in karma but he knows that Johnson's acts are unforgivable, if he never sees Johnson another day in his life, it will be a day too soon.
