"MANDY!...MANDY!!...MAAANDYYY!!!" I half yelled trying to be quiet. Skillfully side-stepping an elderly lady I turned to my left and all of a sudden the ship rocks (we were on a cruise) WHAM I run into a wall.......well at least I thought it was a wall until it started to move. "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going" I quickly mumbled and tried to shuffle pass but the moving wall held a hand out and stopped me. "Slow down there" a deep husky voice rang through my ears. I looked up into a pair of dark and mysterious eyes. I let out a breath of air that I didn't know I was holding. The stranger gave a small smile and his eyes twinkled like stars. "Do you need any help?" His voice sent shivers down my spine. "Um no thank you I was just looking for my friend" I squeaked back in response. "Alright then see you around......." he looked at me expectantly. "Akira" I whispered. "See you around Akira" the stranger smirked and walked away. I turned around and smiled at myself before realising that I hadn't caught his name but just as I turned around he had vanished.

"OMG so you really don't know his name?" Mandy asked excitedly. She had decided to ditch me and head back to the room for the night.

"Like I said about hundred times he just disappeared" I replied testily. We walked down the corridor and entered the elevator which then took us to level 14. From the elevator to a teen centre we walked in silence. When we reached HQ+ (teen centre) we were mind blown. Literally everybody was a boy and every boy (and girl for that matter) was super attractive. Suddenly I spotted the boy from the night before. "There he is" I whispered to Mandy and nodded my head in his direction where he seemed to be immersed in an intense game of air hockey against a very lanky boy with shoulder-length blonde hair. Just as I was about to leave Mandy and leave I heard a voice call out "Akira." I turned around and there he was in all his glory - the beautiful stranger from last night. "Why don't you come play?" he gestured to the game. "I'm not really good at this" I say as I walk over and prepared to be beaten. "You'll be fine" reassured the stranger. We had one game in which he easily beat me. "Lets go outside for a bit," he suggested. I quickly told Mandy and followed him outside.

As we stepped into the cool night a calming breeze passed and a comfortable silence settled down upon our shoulders. After a few minutes of no talking "Please tell me your name" I half asked him. "Okay but don't laugh at me okay?" he questioned unknowingly. I was so surprised by his response but I quickly regained my cool and nodded. He took a deep breath, stared into my eyes and whispered "Courage....my name is Courage." He took a couple steps back and looked at me expectantly. "That....is the most amazing name I've ever heard!" I exclaimed catching him off guard. "What a unique name." I started to ramble and he just stood there and laughed. "Shall we go for a walk m'lady?" He asked trying to be posh but failing. Giggling I started to walk off without him. "So Courage tell me a little about yourself," I said as I tested his name out. "Theres not much to tell except that I play basketball." He shrugged his shoulders at me. "Rubbish, I'm sure theres more to you than meets the eye. Tell me about your culture or something." I pushed on. "Well, I am from Maori descent and I moved to Melbourne a few years ago with my cousin Alijah." I smile at him "see there is more to you than meets the eye." Courage simply smirked.

We entered an area called the dome and took a seat next to the window which gave us a beautiful view of the ocean. The sea was very calm at this point and was a beautiful deep blue colour then slowly turned to a aqua colour as the boat passed by. I turned my head only to be met by a pair of dark chocolate brown eyes. Right at that moment I could see so much emotion in his eyes but I just couldn't decipher all of it. "Would you like a drink?" I snapped out of my trance and turned to face the bartender that had just appeared. "No thank you." I smiled and turned to Courage "Do you want anything?" he shook his head. Satisfied with our responses the bartender walked away. "Akira?" I look at him. "Have you ever dated anyone before?" I smirk. "Somebody's curious?" Courage blushes and looks down. "I'm only joking and no I've never date anyone before in fact I haven't even had my first kiss yet. What about you?" I threw his question back at him. Courage seemed to shrink a little at this but none the less answered the question grimly "I've had many girlfriends but none of them have been the one ya know?" My heart dropped a little at his response but I just plastered a smile on my face. "What's the time?" he asked. I look down at my watch and yelp it was almost six o'clock. "Sorry Courage I need to run. See you tomorrow!" I rushed out of the dome and back to my cabin.
