My whole body ached like hell, I sat with the whole agency at the big meeting table as we reviewed our current investigation. "Well, it obvious that the kidnapper knows we're on their tail," stated Lydia.
"I say the the teenager that directed us to our near death in the current main suspect currently," I said, the others nodded in agreement,"What we have to do now is to find him before he kidnaps more children."

"Target located at block C," reported Lydia into the phone, Ren immediately moved from his spot block B to block C since he was the closest. The boy in the hoodie immediately broke into a run as if he knew we were coming for him, if we couldn't even catch a boy a bit older than us, how could we call ourselves an Crime Solvers Agency, we all immediately took off after him. We followed him into a lonely cold alley, he stopped and turned his head to face us, " What do you want with...," But before he could finish, Lydia formed an ice box around him that kept in in there like an infectious animal, but suddenly, the ice broke apart like something invisible had smashed it. Was this his gift, but I still couldn't figure out what it was. Soon, I felt a strong gust of wind blow my way, it finally made sense, he could control wind. Just as I thought that, he began to float an fly away when he got smashed back down to the ground by a tree branch. He got up slowly looking surprised but then quickly recovered and looked for another escape route.
--------------------------------------------------
The whole agency was working to find him but boy did we know that he would soon deliver himself right to our doorstep. The opened a little then the full way, standing there was the boy and another older boy. We all immediately stood up from our chairs and readied our weapons, but something unexpected happened, they both put their hands up to surrender and even got a white handkerchief and started waving it! We all stopped and looked at each other uncertainly. Then very slowly, we lowered our weapons, "Why are you here?""We saw how you guys are all gifted, we were wondering if we could join," started the boy, "and we're already doing good things, we're not harming the children."
"What do you mean?" asked Lydia curiously.
"We were only kidnaping gifted kids who were being tortured or experimented with."
" We then send them to an orphanage that specialises in raising and training gifted children, they'll have a better time away from their homes," chirped in the other boy.
"Maybe I should send Katherine there for a few months, maybe it'll save some money that could be spent on something other than candles," sniggered Ren. I looked at him, my face red as a tomato, not only because I was angry, but also because I was embarrassed. They all looked at me, I kept my head down.
"Okay, anyway, after hearing what you have done for others, I'll let you join for now," said Lydia.
"Wait what about the bomb in the abandoned apartment?!" I cried, forgetting about my embarrassment,"It nearly killed me and Alice."
"I'm sorry to hear that you were nearly killed but we know nothing of the bomb you speak of. Anyway, my name is Tyrant, I have the ability to make and control wind, and this is my brother Rex, he can run super fast as you saw before." We gave them a nod as if a welcome and then continued with our work, 'Oh no, not the candle training again.'
I stared at the vanilla scented candle, concentrating my hardest, a little flame appeared, yes I did it, but the minute I said that, the flame began to loose control, burning the whole candle. "Does that count?!" I asked Ren with a proud look.
"No, try again."
"Damn it!" I said frustrated. I stared at the candle again, this time with the intention of not burning it. A glow filled the dark room and the smell of vanilla filled the air, "Now does that count?" I asked triumphantly.
"Damn it, and I even brought six extra packets of candles!" cried Ren.
"Now who's wasting the company's money?"
