Hola guys! Sorry that it’s been quite a while since I last updated. This chapter is going to be a bit shorter than the others as I have little time to be writing this. Anyway, enjoy! J

Recap:

“Well… mine has a green light!” he yelled. We both looked at each other before bursting into fits of laughter. We were too busy going into hysterics to notice the awakening dalek.

“EXTERMINATE!”

……

We both immediately stop laughing upon hearing the last thing we wanted to hear. The Dalek. But it makes no sense as to why it is waking up. I had paused it myself using my own phone. I check my pockets in search for the devise and that’s when I realise that The Doctor still has it in his tight grasp. He must have pressed something that he shouldn’t have.

In a panic, I rudely snatch my phone back from his shaking hands, grab one of them and begin to sprint towards the door.

“Run!” he exclaims, finally coming to his senses and beginning to quicken his pace. With my seemingly nonexistent athletic ability and petite figure, he easily takes the lead and I end up being left behind with The Doctor’s hand still in mine. For the first time he looks down and notices our hands desperately entwined together. He stops and turns sideways towards be and blushes looking away. I grow frustrated with him as this is CLEARLY not the time to get embarrassed or distracted.

“Urgh come on! It’s catching up with us hurry!” I yell at him trying to get him to move. With a rough shove on his shoulder he takes off running not bothering to wait for me.

“Well wait for me Mr grumpy jeeze!” I exclaim, annoyed at the fact that he thinks its okay to ditch me when we are on the verge of getting killed by the alien behind us. The Doctor looks back at me but doesn’t stop. Instead, he slows his pace down to match my own. We turn left and run down a brightly lit hallway, this time not holding hands. I look over to him and he grins at me with an apologetic look on his face that shows he is sorry. I smirk in response to show that I have forgiven him.

I let out a tired laugh and turn to the Doctor to see him do the same thing. We turn another corner and are able to stop and rest against a wall to return our breathing and heart rate back to normal. The Doctor quietly turns and looks around the corner to where we came from and lets out a sigh.

“I think we lost it. Won’t take long for him to find us either.” He informs me. I look to the ground with my hands on my knees to try and control my erratic heart rate. My pulse yet again quickens when I hear voices at the other end of this hallway.

“I told them to stay in the Tardis. Why don’t they listen? The one rule I give them and nobody ever seems to listen to it!” his voice gets louder as he speaks to the figures that appear in the hallway. As they come closer excitement bubbles up in me. I know exactly who these two people are. Amy and Rory.

“Sorry! I know what you’re going to say, you’ve said it before but we got bored okay? There’s only so much you can do in the Tardis before getting bored!” Amy says to the Doctor walking past me completely oblivious to me standing there. However Rory, a few feet behind Amy, notices me and speaks up for the first time.

“Umm… sorry but w-who is this?” Rory asks pointing to me. The Doctor and Amy ignore him; they are having an argument instead. Since no one else is going to talk about me, I decide to introduce myself.

“The names Ella. Ella Dartmoor. Science geek and a bit of a genius” I say flipping my hair over my shoulder. This seems to take Rory buy surprise but he quickly covers his surprise up by a kind smile.

“Hello Ella I’m Rory. Don’t mean to be rude but why are you here?”

“Long story. Basically I was here for a day out, save me and The Doctor from getting exterminated, and now getting chased by a Dalek. Just a normal Tuesday really.” I reply nonchalantly. Realising that we are still being followed by a Dalek I look down to my phone to see that it is actually just a few meters away from us.

“Doctor! It’s on its way we need to move. Now” I yell, grabbing the Doctor’s tweed jacket and forcing him to run. He yells something behind him to get Amy and Rory to move us and soon we come to a big metal door. I go to open it but it’s locked. The Doctor reaches into his pocket and takes out his sonic screwdriver. He points it at the lock and in a matter of seconds the door is open and us run past the door and locking it again, grabbing Amy and Rory on the way. As we get time to stop and breathe again, Amy looks at me with a cold look.

“Okay, who the hell is she?!” Amy yells, for some reason angry at my presence. The Doctor goes to speak but I beat him to it.

“Nice to meet you too Amy. And she is Ella. Ella Dartmoor.” I say sarcastically. A smirk makes its way onto my face as I hear the Doctor’s muffled laughter. My reply leaves Amy speechless which give me the opportunity to talk to the Doctor about my plan that I thought of whilst setting things up on my phone.

“Okay. The Dalek is still only down the hallway but still, it won’t stop until it has killed us. All of us. I don’t know how, but it has gotten stronger, from what I don’t know. The only possible way to stop it is to kill it. But the only way to do that is for me to be close enough to detonate the bomb using my phone. I can pause it to stop myself from getting shot but only so I can get close enough to the dalek.” I say calmly, already accepting my fate. The Doctor however, looks far from calm as he turns to me and shouts “are you crazy?! I will not let you die for me Ella, never!” I sigh defeated, but quickly push him back will all my strength and quickly unlock the door, darting for the motionless Dalek.

“NO!”
