Chapter 21

Risha's POV

It's been three years since Jaxx died. It's still painful. Hanggang ngayon iniiyakan ko pa rin sya. The pain just won't go away. Naiinis ako sa kanya, bakit nya ko iniwan? I know it's for my sake but still nagpromise kaming sabay namin haharapin ang problema.

Andito ako ngayon sa Manila bay witnessing a breathtaking sunset. I wish Jaxx is here beside me. Napatingin ako sa paligid ko. A bitter smile escaped my lips. Punong puno ng couples and bay area.

Kita mo yan Jaxx? That could have been us! YOU IDIOT! Bakit kasi sumuko ka?!

It's 7 pm so I decided to go home. Pinasara ko na ang ospital, I just can't bare to see it. It has a lot of bittersweet memories. I now have a cakeshop. I dedicated myself to baking para kahit papano naman may tamis pa din sa buhay ko.

Pag dating ko sa shop ay nagulat ako dahil may lalaki na nagaantay sa may pinto.

"I'm sorry sir but we're closed." I politely said to him.

"I see." Humarap sakin ang lalaki.

"J-jaxx?" Am I hallucinating? How?

"Risha." She said while smiling.

I quickly ran to him and hugged him tight.

"J-jaxx" I said while sobbing.

"I'm sorry it took three years bago ako nakabalik." I looked at him with confusion in my eyes.

"What happened? I-I t-thought you were dead! Nakakainis ka!!" I punched his chest, nakakainis sya halos mamatay na ko sa lungkot tas malaman laman ko buhay pa pala sya.

"Can we go inside first?" Hinila ko ang kamay nya at binuksan ko ang shop.

"You sleep here?" He asked me.

"Yeah." He just nodded his head.

"Anong nangyari?" I placed my hands on my waist and impatiently tapped my foot to the wooden floor.

"It's a long story."

"Well magsimula ka na." Nakakainis to! Malamang long story talaga! For Pete's sake tatlong taon sya nawala!

"Well everything was planned. My assassination was just a show. Chief Marasigan helped me."

"And why didn't you bother to tell me na buhay ka pa?! Do you know how miserable I was?"

"I know. I'm sorry."

Jaxx's POV

Flashback

I went to the police station to surrender myself. As expected they immediately scheduled my execution. I'm in a small white room when a police entered.

"Hi Jaxx, I'm Chief Marasigan." He extended his hand for a handshake but I just looked at it. Making friends to my perpetrator? No thanks.

"I'm here to help." I looked at him in disbelief.

"Don't play games with me!"

"I'm serious. I know Risha loves you so much and I believed she changed you. I'll help you."

I was 'killed' by supposedly a lethal injection that contains some poison. It was broadcasted for the whole nation to see. But little did they know it was just vitamins they injected in me. The whole nation thought I was dead. Marasigan gave me a few cash and told be to work for him and start a new life. I planned to go back to Risha and he stopped me from doing so. He told me I should change my life first and be a deserving person. I changed my name, my status and everything. I disguised myself under blonde hair and thick eyeliner. I worked as an agent and worked hard for three years.

"So ikaw pala yung agent na yun!" She happily said. I just nodded my head.

"Grabe! From notorious criminal to a notorious agent who arrest bad guys. Ironic isn't it?" I nodded and smiled.

"OMG! Ang cool mo! Muntik na kitang di makilala dyan sa blonde hair mo! Mas lalo kang gumawapo!!" I chuckled and hugged her.

"You're not mad anymore?" She hit me in my chest.

"Syempre galit pa din no!" She pouted and I laughed. Such a cute girl.

"You're still small." I joked.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes but smiled. I hugged her again.

"I missed you."

"Ako din."

"Let's get married." I whispered. She immediately let go of the hug and looked down.

"I c-can't." I felt my body froze. My heart just sank.

"Why?"

"I'm already married." Damn, I felt like my heart was stabbed.

"Oh." That's the only thing I can utter. Tears started to flow from my eyes.

"Jaxx, why are you crying?" she wiped my tears and asked. Is she fvcking kidding me?

"Don't touch me."

"Joke lang. Ito naman nagalit agad." I stood froze for a second. The fvck with this woman!

"Hahaha! You should have seen your face Jaxx! That was hella funny." She wiped her fake tears before looking at me. I looked at her in disbelief.

"Pinapatawad na kita, bawing bawi na eh haha." She smiled. I can't help but smile as well.

"So you'll marry me?" I hopingly asked.

"Hmmm, pag-iisipan ko."

"Tss."

"Haha namiss ko yan. My big snake." Big snake? The fvck?
"tsssss." She mimicked me and moved like a snake. Silly.

After a few minutes of silence I asked again.

"So, will you marry me?" This time I kneeled in front of her, a tear escaped from her eyes. She nodded her head.

"Yes! Jaxx I'll marry you!" I stood up and hugged her. Damn it feels so good.

Risha's POV

OMG! Nagpropose sakin si Jaxx at gusto nyang ikasal kami sa lalong madaling panahon. Andito ngayon ako sa isang boutique at sinusukatan ng wedding dress. Nasa kabilang kwarto naman si Jaxx at sinusukatan din for his suit.

"OMG ateng, ang hot ng papa mo!" Sabi sakin ni Richie. Sya yung bakla na nagsusukat sakin.

"Tumigil ka! Akin yan."

"Pashare lang!"

"Hindi!"

"Damot." Napatawa naman ako sa kanya.

I can't believe it after everything that happened we'll finally be getting married.

Nandito kami ngayon sa kwarto at nakahiga sa kama.

"How was your day?"

"Nakakapagod, ang daming pinasukat sakin." He held my hand and massaged it.

"Do you regret meeting me?" Natigilan ako sa tiananong nya.

"No. I'm really grateful for meeting someone like you."

"Thank you for bringing color to my life." I held his face and caressed it.

"And thank you for coming back to my life."

"I love you my crazy doctor."

"I love you my criminal patient." We both gazed at each other's eyes and smiled before he kissed me on my forehead and slept.
