TARO POV

I yawned as I opened the door to my dorm room. After dinner I had to go with Tomo and Gil to their room because Tomo forgot to give me back my jacket, so I'm just now getting back to my room. I unlocked the door and walked inside before closing and locking it once more. I turned around and saw the same white haired male I saw earlier tonight.

"You must be my new roommate," he said as he peaked over the book he held in front of him. "I'm Jiro."

"Taro."

"May I ask what you are," he asked as he put his book down and I walked towards my stuff to start putting it away.

"Neko. You?"

"...werewolf."

I froze and turned to him with a slightly scared expression. He smirked and spoke up once more.

"Relax. I'm not going to hurt you. Well, it depends on how well you and I get along."

"...right."

"Is the kitten scared?"

"Shut up wolfy." He laughed and I continued to unpack my things.

"Yep. I can tell we're gonna get along just well. Not like you have much choice."

"Why's that?"

"Well would you look at the time? I gotta shower before classes start tomorrow."

He grabbed his clothes and walked to the bathroom attached to our room. He closed the door and I sighed before I finished what I was previously doing and laid back on the bed. I felt my eyes droop slowly before I fell asleep.

MINI TIME SKIP

"Taro..." I stirred at someone calling my name. "Taro."

I groaned before I felt someone shaking me.

"Taro!" My eyes snapped open and I looked around and saw I was in my dorm room. I looked up and saw Jiro hovering over me.

"Wha?!" I quickly say up and hissed at him. "What were you doing over here?"

"You were asleep so I thought I'd wake you and tell you that you can shower now," he said as he dried his wet hair. I then noticed that he also didn't have a shirt on. I quickly grabbed my stuff and ran into the other room before stepping into the shower.

JIRO POV

I watched as the small kitten ran into the bathroom and heard the door lock. I chuckled to myself before I yawned and sat back on the bed. It was then I got a text from my brother.

Kane: Be sure to not scare off your new roommate. I just found out he's a Neko so please don't scare him. You know what happened with the last one.

Jiro: Sorry. Too late. Besides, not like he'll leave anyways. I saw him before and... well...

Kane: *sigh* you imprinted on him. Didn't you?

Jiro: is it too late to apologize?

Kane: way too late. I'll see you in class tomorrow and we can talk this over. Do not tell him! Be good!

Jiro: I make no promises.

I put the phone down as soon as Taro stepped out of the bathroom. He was wearing an oversized hoodie and some shorts and was drying his hair.

"So little kitten, why are you so small?"

"Like that's your business."

"Come on."

"I was in an accident with my parents when I was younger. My brother and I both were the only survivors. It kinda stumped our growth and now we're the same height we were as twelve year olds."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Our Uncle spoils us rotten nowadays."

"So you live with him?"

"Yeah. He was our mom's brother so he's human. What about you? You have parents?"

"Afraid not. They passed away when I was ten. My brother took me in since he was eighteen."

"You have a brother?"

"Yeah. He teaches here."

"Who?"

"Kane Goto."

"He's your brother!?"

"Yeah."

"I imagine you're pretty popular then. I saw the looks some of the other students were giving him."

"Not really. He's just one of the youngest teachers here. The rest are in their thirties or later twenties. Except for the principal, because he's like sixty four."

I took notice of the time and yawned.

"Well it's late. We should sleep," I said before I laid down and went to sleep.

The next day I walked into history class and my brother sent me a look. I just smiled and wagged my tail a bit. He dragged me out one of the doors and scowled at me before whisper shouting.

"What were you thinking imprinting at seventeen!?"

"He was so cute. And I sensed a broken soul."

"You are a broken soul you moron!"

"I'm sorry but it can't change now huh?"

"No. When you imprint on someone they become your mate for life. Whether you or they like it or not. But why a Neko of all creatures?"

"I don't really know myself. It's like I couldn't stop it or some shit."

"Language."

"Alright Captain America, no need to get onto me for it." He just gave me an "are you kidding me look" and I left with a smile and my tail wagging slightly.

I took the only empty seat left and saw it was beside Taro. I waved and he looked confused but waved back slightly.

"Okay class today we're going to be learning about-"

"Excuse me Mr. Goto, but it's only the first day," some girl in the back said. "Can't we take the day to learn about each other? Especially the newer students."

"I guess. Fine. Who would like to go first," Kane asked. No one raised their hand so he gave an impatient look. "Either someone volunteer or we aren't doing it."

That's when fifteen hands shot up.

"That's what I thought," Kane said with a smirk.

So we started going around and introducing ourselves and soon enough, class had ended. I stood up and walked out with Taro and waved by to my brother. We started walking and I saw that he had the same classes I did and next up was science.
