Brian's POV

It has been thirty minutes, and Andrew is still fighting. Thirty minutes of jumping back and forth knowing that eventually you will fail, but also knowing that if you do, you'll die. Wow. It's insane. Power flowing through The amazingness of everything. I don't even know if amazingness is a word, but by now, who really cares.

I leap from the tree I was standing on and create a clone. Pathetic. I never had been drained so much that I can only create one clone. I phase through the ground and slowly creep toward Andy. My clone walks around like he's me. This might work.

As I crawled through the earth, I can hear crashes of thunder and fires crackling. Suddenly, I'm regretting this plan. I better run back for now and regain some energy. My black eyes aren't going to last forever.

I set up camp under a cliff. I can see a small crater right next to it. Andy. I set up my sleeping bag and set up a clone on watch duty. Ever since I was young, I was unable to fall asleep immediately.  I kept feeling guilty, like I forgot something. I keep thinking. Eventually, I fall asleep and my dreams are horrible.

I see A.J when I kidnapped him. How confused he was to see me disguised as Elvin. I remember Matthew when he pleaded me to return. That nearly broke me. Matthew was my role model. Strong, smart, and he never broke. He always stood up strong. I reminded myself. This was all for a good reason. This will help us all. Matthew and the others are just in the way. Especially Isabelle. Oh no. I jump out of my sleeping bag just to get my feet caught in it, making me fall over. My clone rushes over to help me, but I wave him off. I sprint toward the clearing where I tied up Isabelle. Nothing. I let out a breath of relief. She got herself free. I turn around. I bump into a large solid object that was not there a minute ago. As I step away, it follows me.

"What the heck is wrong?" I yell. I raise my hand and blast it with lightning. It explodes into a thousand small shards of metal. Wait, metal? I cover my face as the shards tear into me. Not enough time to go through it. The explosion leaves hundreds of cuts and needle-sized shards embedded in my body.

"Ouch," I mutter as I limp away, "Seriously, what is it with me and leg injuries. I mean come'on Ben, why with all these shards."

I stop. Ben is dead. Daniel is unable to move since he overused his powers to fight me. I turn around. Standing in front of the newly rising sun is Ben. At least it looks like him. His skin is shiny like metal and his eyes are metal marbles.

"Ben?" I ask quietly, "I thought you were dead."

"No, I have been revived into this metal body which weighs about a thousand pounds." he says. No, Ben says. He has been revived.
