“Watch out!” screamed a tall, brown curled hair boy. He wore a black uniform – white shirt with black plain top, black plain trousers with the most basic black shoes and a tie to make the uniform complete – while getting splatted by a snowball.

“What for?” replied the other identically dressed kid but with black hair and fewer freckles.

As the kid spoke he was pelted with four snowballs witch were mostly made of ice. The boys were in the middle of a war zone around five hundred children all dressed the same throwing snowballs at each other it is a scene to behold but no be in.

The bell rang for third period of the day. All five hundred of the children dropped all the snowballs and made their way into the school moaning and groaning. They made their way to the three different coloured doors, red at the right side, blue in the middle and green on the left side. The building was eight stories tall it had to be to keep over a thousand people.

“What class you in now Charlie?” asked the blacked haired boy.

“Hmm, I think am in English, what about you?” replied Charlie.

“Maths and am doing stuff you wont understand” Replied the kid with a smirk on his square face.

“Dont push it Aaron or else I will have to smack you to next week.”

The two boys walked up the blue stairs and went their separate ways. Time went on and on and on and on until it was around one thirty in the afternoon. When a teacher burst into the classroom Charlie was in. He was holding a large old radio silver.

“Everyone listen up! This is important!” shouted the teacher smacking the radio on a table and screwing with the nobs the get a signal.

“This is a urgent update to all people off the country. There has been major reports of severe attacks around the country. It looks like people are brutally attacking one and other, For your own safety please lock your doors and barricade the windows. Please do not go outside and stay away from strangers.”

Everyone’s eyes in the room was wide and full of terror. The teacher with the radio looked up at the children and began to explain,

“Listen you all cant go home its too dangerous we have already heard reports of attacks near this area, We will have you all move to the assembly hall and get you to barricade the first and second floor. Then we shall secure people in different areas of the school.”

One kid stood up “What I ain’t staying here, screw that this place is mainly glass with three exits and has over a thousand five hundred kids, this is a huge target!”

“Shut up sit down and listen if you go out their you will be attacked our job is to secure this place and keep you children safe because its my job.”

The entire class got up and marched their way to the main tower doors with bags on their backs and some of them carrying tables to reinforce the doors and windows, They all looked like soldiers ready for war. The children sat and talked as one kid smartly said.

“Its like the battle of Troy.”

the people around him laughed but an uneasy one. They all know how that ended,

A few hours past all three exits had been blocked and barricades where made in the hallways in the first and second floor as-well as mini ones inside the hallways. A teacher stood at every door of the school on watch. Inside one of the class rooms sat Charlie and Aaron both talking on what they should do.

“If worst comes to worst I would try and get to the small island in the loch behind this high school.”Charlie said

“Charlie it is a good idea but how would he make it to the island, and you got to take into effect how long would we be their for?” Always right Aaron replied.
