The Death

~Maya's Pov~
It's been a year without mom and I can't take it. I know my friends are always going to be there for me, but I can't handle it anymore.
~Riley's Pov~
Maya didn't look good. I could feel it.
"Maya, are you OK?" I asked Maya
"Ya, I'm fine" She told me. I knew that was a lie, but I left it at that so she doesn't get mad at me. I really want to know what's wrong, but she'll tell me when it's right. I know she will.
*A few days later*
~Maya's Pov~
Today is the day. I'm not going to tell anyone. I've already planned it. It's so easy. I woke up to Shawn gone. He's not home until tomorrow morning. He has a hard job, and takes care of me. He's a good parent, but he needs to take care of himself too. I'm thankful for someone like that. When I finished writing the note, I placed it next to me. I went to the bathroom and took out some random pill bottle and went to the living room.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to but I can't. It hurts to much." I whimpered. I opened the pill bottle took a handful out and ate it. By then I couldn't see anything. My vision was getting blurry. The last thing I saw was a few people breaking down the door.
~Lucas's Pov~
Farkle and I walked to Riley's like every morning eat breakfast with her family and Maya, then walk to school together. When we got there it was only Riley there.
"Where's Maya?" Farkle asked
"I don't know, I was going to ask you." She said. Then we all ran to Maya's apartment, Shawn decided it was best to stay in Maya's home town. When we got there, the door was locked. We were all worried so I kicked the door down. We all say Maya unconscious with an empty pill bottle next to her. "Quick call 911" Yelled Riley. Farkle was already on that though. As he was on the phone, I checked for a pulse. Riley was on the phone telling her dad to come over. When they hung up they noticed how bad my face was. Riley started to cry because she knew Maya didn't make it. The Matthews showed up before the police, pulled us aside, made us tell them what happened, then they cried. The decided not to tell Shawn until later. That's when Auggie saw the something he went over to Maya, and grabbed something
"What do you have, Auggie?" I asked
"I have nothing...fine I have a note that I found. Please don't tell Riley." Auggie said
"Ok, I won't. Can I read it?" I asked
"Sure" he said handing me the note. The note was in a white envelope that said Read When Necessary. Well now is necessary, so I opened it and read it. This is what it said...
Dear person who finds this, this wasn't homicide. Take this to Riley Matthews, Lucas Frier, and Farkle Minkus. They'll know what to do with it. This wasn't homicide, it was just suicide. I did it by pill overdose. I don't take medication sooooo ya. This is no one's fault but mine. I did it because mom is gone and dad will never come back and even though Shawn does a great job at parenting, it doesn't help that mom isn't here. I give all my stuff to Riley Matthews, Farkle Minkus,
Isaiah Babineaux (Zay), Lucas Frier, and the tee-shirt with the tongue to August Matthews (Auggie), he knows what it is. The next part only Riley reads.........

I gave the paper to Riley.
~Riley's Pov~
Lucas gave me a paper. I read it all but Lucas only gave me one section to read, it was only for me and it said...

Riley please don't mad, you're an amazing friend and I would do anything for you. This is not your fault. Don't think it is. Shawn will need you look out for him. I will always be your peaches. Tell Josh I will always love him and he better not forget about me.

Mom was driving all of us kids out of the house. I then realized the police were here. We showed them the note and they said they'll take care of it. They were about to take the note from me.
"NO, this is the last thing of my best friend. I'm keeping it." I yelled at them
"Ok, just let me take a picture of this ok" the cop said. I let them take a picture of it. Then we left. We called Shawn a few hours later and he sped to our house.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Yelled Shawn as he barges in the door
I just gave him the note. He read it and started to cry.
"I just lost both the Hart's. No one can be compared to them" He whimpered. Dad went over to him comforting him. A few minutes later Josh came running in.
"I just heard about Maya. I'm sooooo sorry." Said Josh with puffy eyes and little bits of tears, like he's just been crying
"Uncle Josh, I'm sorry." Auggie cried to him
"You didn't just hear about this. You're trying to cover up your tears but you can't, you've known about this for a while. I know, no one can be like Maya. But don't try to hide it, we all have to let it out some how." Farkle whimpered. The tears came pouring our of Josh like a waterfall. Everyone was crying.
Auggie was wearing the tongue tee-shirt that he got before he left Maya's, he knew exactly were it was. We all just ended up falling asleep right wear we were...

Hugging each other.

That's the end of that chapter so Maya committed suicide because her mom is gone. I didn't like writing this chapter, but I know if I don't I'll be letting you guys down by not continuing annnnnd the title is tied Suicide sooooo ya. Keep reading.
