Not too long ago, the "Brother Bears" made their debut in our tale and began their face-off against our heroes. On the eastern side of town, Hinoko, Evelyn and Toshitsugu began fighting Husky, the larger male of the two brothers. On the western side, Mira went against Grizzly in her "Heaven's Body" transformation. The battles fought were not easy ones for our heroes. Evelyn, Toshitsugu and Hinoko's attacks were ineffective against the large, Husky Beyer. This disadvantage left the three open to an array of attacks. But a voice of hope, given to Evelyn by Hinoko, caused the young girl to gain the strength needed to go head-to-head against the mighty Husky. The same couldn't be said for Mira, as her past is now being used against her in her fight with Grizzly...

Evelyn and Husky began their fight while Hinoko and Toshitsugu rested up. The young girl, with confidence radiating off of her, gave her fist fight with Husky her all. Taking note of this, Husky buffed up his power. His hits now doing much more damage to Evelyn.

"I can't lose this fight. My team is counting on me!" Evelyn thought to herself, throwing punches at Husky as hard as she could.

"Sometimes I don't believe you pyro," Toshitsugu began. "First you bring an outsider into the clan. Then you get Ona'Runama to approve of her. But now...NOW...You turn her into a fighting machine that not even us two could lay a finger on. What the hell are you planning in that head of yours?"

Hinoko laughed, his strength replenishing gradually. He then looked over at Evelyn and Husky fight. "Well, see here's the thing. She's one of the gifted like us. The only thing is, she hasn't realized what exactly her gift is."

"And how do you know this?" Toshitsugu stared, unmoved by the story so far.

"Well that's an easy answer. When I was walking with her back to the clan's base, we talked for a bit. Turns out, she has no memory of her past. All she remembered was that she had awoken here in Ethereon. That's when some rich guy took her in and gave her a home."

"So let me get this straight, you're saying she might be one of the fallen gifts?"

Hinoko looked down and smirked as he began thinking to himself. He then raised his head back up and looked over at Toshitsugu once more. "I'm not saying she might be...I'm saying she is. That's a reason Ona'Runama let her into the clan. The fallen gifts can notice one another just by a glance. Unfortunately, due to Evelyn not having much of a memory of her past, she didn't recognize Ona'Runama as a fallen. Nor does she know that she, herself, is a fallen."

Toshitsugu looked at Hinoko in silence. He then looked over at Evelyn with a surprised look on his face. He watched her fight with Husky, focusing his attention solely on Evelyn. Gaining an analysis based on the way she fought, his eyes lit up, as well as his jaw dropping. "So that's it...then her beating me wasn't just luck..."

"Nope! You were beaten by one of the strongest types among the gifted known in throughout Terrabisk. And now that you know...we've gotta keep up with her. Know what I mean?"

Toshitsugu looked over at Hinoko once again and shook his head.

"Well, I'll put it like this. If we sit back and start letting Evelyn go on all the cases on her own, then she'll end being just as strong as Ona'Runama. If not that, then even stronger." Hinoko explained.

Evelyn and Husky continued their assault on one another before jumping back, creating distance between one another. They both were breathing heavily, their bodies beaten and battered up. Husky looked at Evelyn, wiping his mouth with his right forearm. Evelyn stared back at him, her hands on her knees. Hinoko stood to his feet, preparing himself for battle. Evelyn looked over at the male and smiled.
