Gilmore Girls: The future of Luke and Lorelai

The Question!

Lorelai and Luke have now been dating for 5 years, they thought it was time to get married without breaking up because the whole town remembers that. Luke is really excited because this time he was going to propose, he was planning to do it tonight at date night. Lorelai didn't suspect a thing about it she just thought it was a normal date night but not for long. So at 6pm Luke picked up Lorelai and they headed of to the restaurant and then Luke asked the waiter " can you put this in my girlfriends coffee? " " ok " the waiter replied. So Luke had to wait all the way through dinner to make it to dessert. Finally the moment came Lorelai started drinking her coffee and the something hit her teeth. " Ow " she said " Oh my God are you ok? " Luke said " Yeah, wait a minute this is a engagement ring! "

" Lorelai Victoria Gilmore will you marry me? " he asked hoping for a yes, " YES! Of course I will marry you Luke just think about it I will be Mrs Danes." " I am so happy Lorelai this time nothing will stop us from getting married." Luke said happily he then paid and they left the restaurant. Luke then dropped Lorelai off and walked her to the door. " Oh Luke I am so happy that we are getting married again! " she told him with a tear of joy rolling down her face " I'm happy to Lorelai nothing will get in the way of our love this time! " Luke said trying to wipe the tear off her face. As they kissed and Lorelai went inside something wonderful happened IT STARTED TO SNOW!!!!!!!! Lorelai now knows that this is meant to be.

Lorelai then called Rory to tell her the good news " Rory I have to tell you something " " OMG you and Luke did not break up did you? " " God NO Luke and I are engaged! " " NO WAY!!!  I'm coming over now. " " See you soon. " Rory then soon knocked on the door, " Hi mom " Rory said so happy " I am soon going to be Mrs Danes isn't that crazy! " Lorelai said screaming. " So I was thinking that it would be on September 8th. " Lorelai said panicking " wow mom that is soon. " Rory said with shock " I know it is but Luke said the sooner the better. " 

" Rory " " yes mom " " will you be my maid of honour? " " Of course I will! " So then they both went to sleep the next day.... Lorelai and Rory both went out to tell Sookie " Oh my God you guys are getting married FINALLY! " Sookie said like there was no tomorrow, " I know I am so happy! " Rory said with excitement " It is finally going to happen, my dream for the past five years is going to come true! " Lorelai said with tears of joy rolling down her eyes again. " Lorelai I will make your cake so what flavour do you want? " Sookie asked "  Luke and I agreed that we are going to have a chocolate. " Lorelai said.

" Okay great how many layers do you want? " Sookie asked " hun I haven't even told you the date! " Lorelai said with a smirk " sorry sorry I just got so excited you guys are getting married! So when is the wedding? " Sookie asked with a smile on her face " September 8th " Lorelai said " that is two weeks away are we going to have time to get everything prepared? " Sookie said hysterically " Sookie everything will be fine, I know that you are a good cook so just make me a menu and I bet it will be fabulous!  " Lorelai said " ok i will get started on that right away " Sookie said. Sookie then sent all of her staff to help her whip up a menu.

Lorelai then had to tell her parents. Richard and Emily started liking Luke, so she hoped everything would be fine until she got to the door and came in.
