When I'm Lying In Your Arms (A Yu-Gi-Oh! Puzzleshipping Fanfiction!)

Chapter 20

     The wailing shadow monster slowly melted to the floor and slowly disappeared to the thin air without any visible trace for people to see. The white hair boy wiped the blood from his mouth as his mouth trying to get as much air to calmed the heavy fast breath.

      "Business done" Bakura said as he stretched his hand and massage his shoulder one by one after surviving a huge horde of fortunately easily-killed  shadow creatures but still costing a lot of his energy and time. "Bakura!"

      The three man ran to Bakura, the so not familiar face that  Bakura hasn't seen for a long time. "Ah the royal highness are here. What an honor" he said with on obvious sarcasm inside his voice that masking his tiredness after the battle alone. "Where's Yugi?" Heba asked but in his mind is different, feeling of hatred for Bakura is filling his mind.

     "How should I know eh?" as Bakura played with the little gold knife he used before to protect him. "Cut the crap Bakura, we can sense Yugi was here" Atem replied with anger slowly rising to his heart. "Okay, I don't know where Yugi is. He ran with Marik from the horde of the shadow creatures." Bakura answered as he threw the knife to the air and fell back to his hand.

      Heba suddenly gasped and gripped Atem's arm tightly to prevent him from falling to the ground. His eyes are widen in pain and his hand touched his head, the source of the pain. Everyone around him immediately went to panic due to Heba's sudden reaction.

     "Heba! What's wrong?" Atem said as he slowly lower both of them to the ground and leaned Heba's body on his arm. "Oh my god! He's inside the nightmare" he said with all of his color drained from him and eyes wide like he saw a ghost.

     "But today is full moon" Yami said and little by little his body started to reacted by shaking in mix of anger and fear. His mouth started to chanting a long line of a magic and Atem looked up to him realizing what he's going to do "Yami don't you dare!" he exclaimed with his assertive voice.

     By the time he finished chanting a portal that colored in black showed up on the wall behind Bakura and Yami made a dash to the hole and immediately jumped to inside the portal. "Yami!" 

      Yami landed perfectly on to the ground with the help of both of his hands and feet from falling freely to the cold hard bloody ground. He stood up and immediately make a run to find Yugi before he's hurt by the shadow creatures.

      Yami then made a turned to the right after he met with the end of the corridor and saw the special corridor that every single night has. Each night will have different special corridors. Sometimes because of special and hidden purpose, sometimes it's just the corridor with no special nether hidden purpose.

     Yami then started to run passing through the window that showing the horrible view of the outside world. He has already seen it for thousand of times including seeing people slowly and painfully transformed in to another shadow creature and he stood there can't do anything to save the lost people.

      While he ran passed the special corridor, his eyes caught a glimpse of a silver necklace. He stopped running and bent down to picked up the silver necklace. "No!" he said as realization downed upon him. This necklace belong to one and only person that he loves all this century and willing to die even go through shadow realm for.

     He gripped the necklace and ran faster than before concentrating to find the certain person who he sure waiting for someone to saves him.

      By the time he made another turn to the left, blindly running through the maze not knowing where Yugi is, he met with a mysterious staircase. Usually staircase will be found in a room where it lead to a hidden room where usually to find rare treasures or big giant horrible great enemy to kill.
