Alex looked bewildred. I would too, I mean she just found out that her celebirty crush was her... dad.

"You- you're my dad?" she asked, quietly. "Yeah, I am. In fact, the only reason I'm famous is your mother. Without her, I'd be a dreaming boy in his parents basement. That's one of the many reasons I fell in love with her; we were so different, but music was the one thing that didn't stop us."

"Awww!" Alex chanted. "Yeah awe all you want, when he found out I was pregnant, he left, that's why we don't talk about the Moons," I shot him a dirty stare.

"Ally...I was young then, I had no idea how to raise a child. You remeber me, don't ou?" he had tears pricking his eyes.

"Yeah, I do. And I loved that Austin, a lot."

He nodded, "Can I at least have some time with Alex, our daughter?" he asked, emphasising the our.

"Sure, whatever. C'mon Alex, we have to get going." I pulled her by the hand out of the door, and we went home.

"Mom," she started as we drove off, "I want to have some time with my dad. I mean he is my dad."

The anger boiled inside of me. I could feel slight tears at my eyes. "Alex. You have no idea how hard it is to raise a child alone. To have the love of your life just ran away because of a baby."

"I'm sorry mom." I patted her on the shoulder. "It'll be fine. It has been for 15 years. I'll let you see him, don't worry. Hey, he can come over on your birthday, Friday. No one can miss their baby girl turning 15."

A smile appeared across her face. "Thanks, mom. Kylee can still come over Friday, right?" "Of course, sweetheart. She's practically my 2nd daughter!"

It's true. Kylee has been Alex's best friends since their first day in Kidergarden. She's the only friend who's been there for her through everything.

I walked into my bedroom, picking through paperwork. Working was hell. I fucking hated it. But I had to do whatever I could for Alex. She was the only thing that mattered to me anymore, other than music.

My love for music never ended. I even helped Alex learn the piano when she was 5. And she was amazing. Her voice was like an angel. Better than anything I've heard. And guess who her voice reminds me of? Austin.
