Chapter 6

At the Weasley's Burrow..

Ginny Weasley hurled for the nth time as Hermione held up her hair away from dipping into the sink with one hand. She helped Ginny sit down on the dining table and got her a glass of water. "Thanks Hermione," Ginny said as she drank. "I'm going to kill Harry, I didn't ask for this," she said as she closed her eyes and breathed deeply. Hermione chuckled.

"Uhm, you kind of did, you know," Hermione said, taking the glass from Ginny and putting it on the sink.

Ginny grunted. "I know," she started, lightly sniffing, "it's just.. it's so hard Hermione!" Tears pricked her eyes as she held on to Hermione's arm. She knew for the life of her that she never knew morning sickness could make your head throb like hell. Hermione, on the other hand gave a deep sigh but smiled at her friend.

"Don't cry Ginny," she said, "just think, after a few months, you and Harry are gonna be having the most beautiful baby in the whole world!" Ginny chuckled against the whirling in her head. She rubbed her two-month-old pregnant belly with deep satisfaction. "You're exaggerating," she said as she pulled herself up. Hermione leaned back at the sink and crossed her arms.

"Did you talk about names yet?" Hermione asked cheekily.

Ginny looked at her funny. "We don't even know yet if it's a boy or a girl, frankly, we want it to be a surprise, remember?" she said, matter-of-factly.

"Oh, c'mon, even Draco and I had already thought of names, I doubt the actual parent's haven't!"

It was Ginny's turn to smile at her friend. "Draco and I, huh? Is it me, or does that just roll out of your tongue so perfectly?"

Hermione blushed. Ginny, Harry and Luna were the only ones who knew about her and Draco dating, and they were surprisingly supportive, even Harry to be honest. Ginny deliberately forces her everytime to talk about her and Draco, it drove Ginny crazy, but she kept her stories to a minimum, but she swore that she was very grateful for the both of them. But as much, she never really told her about the Amortentia.

"Don't even try to change the subject, Gin," Hermione fired, "besides, Draco and I are old news compared to who you're carrying inside your belly. It's the child of the boy-who-lived."

"There it is again! Seriously Hermione, it just sounds so perfect when you say it," Ginny cockily said, feeling victorious that she wasn't fazed by Hermione's efforts. Hermione rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless.

A knock came from the front door as Hermione started to wash the used glass from the sink. She turned to Ginny, "Were you expecting anyone?"

Ginny shook her head and started to walk outside the kitchen towards the front door. "Not that I know of."

It was a Sunday and Mr and Mrs Weasley had gone out to Diagon Alley to buy resources for the Burrow. Since Ginny was too sensitive with her pregnancy they decided it would be better if she didn't travel much. With Ron having his own place and Lavender living in with him, her other brothers spending the day with their own families, and Harry spending more time at the auror department to fill in hours before he takes a break to take care of Ginny the moment she gets bigger, Ginny would be left alone at the house. Since it was her day off, Hermione offered to join Ginny for the day. The Weasleys had just left, so it would be impossible for them to get back so quick.

From the kitchen Hermione heard the tiny and soft voice of their friend Luna. She smiled and hurried putting back the glass in the cupboard. When she stepped out of the kitchen and into the living room, her friends were already seated on the couch, with Luna's hand on Ginny's belly.
