~Lucy POV~
It's my last day in the dragon realm and im really exited to get back to the guild. I jump out of bed and walk into the bathroom. Quickly, I shower before wrapping a towel around myself and walking back into the room. Natsu's wait in by the door and slips in as soon as im out. Then i walk to the closet and pick out an outfit. I wear my usual blue and white crop top and navy mini skirt. Then i rush to the kitchen and start cooking breakfast. Today we're having chocolate pancakes with white chocolate chips and chocolate sauce filling. I also decide to make some cheese, bacon, and steak omelettes with a side of more bacon and toast. I lay everything out on the big dining table then decide to cook more. I feel like treating natsu today, since its our last day in the dragon realm. I decide to bake some cinnamon rolls and fruit pockets. Once im finally finished, Natsu comes out of our walk in closet. His eyes imideatly land on the food and he rushes over. He starts eating bits of everything occasionally mumbling "so good." I chuckle a bit then pick out some food for myself. I take a cinnamon roll, an apple pocket, a piece of toast, an eight of a pancake, an eighth of an omelet, and two strips of bacon. Natsu finishes before me and wipes his face with his hand.
"Thanks Luce! What's the occasion?" He says. I hold up my finger signalling for a second as i finish my breakfast.
"Its our last day in the dragon world." I announce.
"Oh yeah!!!" Natsu yells exitedly. "Im so exited to see Erza, Gray, Gramps, and the rest!" He says while jumping around. I smile, but my happiness quickly disappears after i relise something. Me and natsu won't be living together anymore. No more waking up to his warm arms around me. No more kisses on my fore head every night. No more waking up early to make a breakfast for 100 people. Natsu quickly pucks up on my sadness. "What are yo- oh."
"Natsu its nothing, really nothing at all." I say, putting on a fake smile.
"You will miss the dragons. I will to, but aren't you exited to see our friends, i mean we both have portal keys so we can travel here." He says. I chuckle at his response.
"I guess you're right." I say, trying to play along.
~Natsu POV~
Come on get it together man! I mentally scold myself. You should've told her why you're sad to leave. No more living with her. No more waking up to the slight squeeze she gives me when she goes to get ready. No more kissing her forehead every night. No more of her buetiful cooking. I feel myself mentally cry.
"Natsu-" Lucy starts. I am quick to cut her off.
"Well we should get going, we dont wanna be late!" I exclaim as i race out the door. I see her roll he Reyes behind me.
"Oy! I saw that!" I yell at her. I hear her amazing soft chuckle and smile. Her smile and laughter always takes my sadness away. "Race ya to the dragons?" I ask her.
"You're on!" She replies. We line up in f rount of the hotel.
"3, 2, 1... GO!!" i say before taking off. I run quickly but she's faster. She reaches the training island in no time flat. I hurry to catch up. "Did you use any spells?" I ask.
"Maybe i did maybe i didn't." She answers. Just the behind her and army of soilders made of light appears before her.
"You were saying." I boast.
"Anyways that was fun but down to business now." I hear Layla say from behind us. I nod my head once before getting into race position. All the other dragon slayers, including Lucy were already set.
"1." Igneel says.
"2." Layla continues.
"3." Igneel says, as he starts to lean towards Layla.
"GOOOOO-" layla yells before being cut off by Igneel's lips hitting her's. I make my signature toothy grin as i run.I hear the others clapping and cheering ahead of me, so i burst forwards.
~LAYLA POV~
I feel heat rising to my cheeks as Igneel takes his dragon lips off mine.
"I-Ign-e-Igneel... I-I'm m-mari-maried. B-but i-i wish i wasn't." I stutter as Igneel's cheeks turn orange.
"You're not married." He states.
"What?? Ju-jude. I married him when i was human." I stagger. I watch Igneel smile.
-flashback-
I appear in my husband's office to find him working again. Arg! I so angry all he does is work. No family time. Last time i tried that he brushed me off like a flea.
"Jude." I say boldly.
"What is lady?" He says with a sarcastic tone. I take a deep breath and try not to yell at him for talking to me like that.
"Im going to the mountains to expand our business." I state. I take another deep breath, i don't like lying to my husband. I just need time away from him. I watch his eyes widen, and his expression anger.
"You. Will. Not." He tells me.
"There's no stopping me!" I yell.
"Layla. I will not allow you to leave." He yells back in response. We argue for hours, until finally i end it.
"To bad. Im going. Bye." I state, before leaving the room. I slam the door just to show him i have a bad side. I quickly rush to gather everything and go outside. Just before i leave i give my keys to the servants and to Lucy.
"Bye Lucy see ya later." I say.
"Can i comewith you mama?" She pleads
"No darling, im sorry." I tell her.
"Okay mama, bye." She says before giving me a big hug. I left for the mountains. Little did i know giving my keys away, also took my powers.
-end of flashback-
"Till death do you part." Igneel remarks. And my my mouth turns upwards into a dragon smile.
"Alrighty then." I say, then we both lean forwards and truly kiss.
