Chapter 38

I woke up to my phone going off. I grabbed it and saw my mom texted me. Urrggh!

Milia Day! I've been calling you for three days straight and you don't answer me? I am your mother! You're not in Korea and you're not pregnant so what the hell are you doing for you not to answer me?? Call me ASAP!!

Well damn...

Me - "Wow really?"

"What?"

I looked behind me to see a half asleep Max. I know what you're thinking but no we're not back together. I just get bored, I mean I do use Ethan but I need to switch it up.

Me - "It's my mom. She's been calling me for God knows what but I'm not in the mood."

He stretched out and sat up.

Max - "What do you think it is?"

I shrugged my shoulders. Max grabbed his phone and cussed under his breath.

Me - "What?"

Max - "I have to go. Reid is coming in today and I have to be there for an introductory seminar."

Reid is Max and Ethan's new general, he used to be the sargent but then they made Ethan sargent and Reid general. Max wasn't happy at all with this whole process. I kind of understand, Max has been in longer than Ethan and has gone up three ranks yet here comes Ethan skipping ranks. But Ethan is very smart I honestly don't know why he didn't join Air Force.

6:20am.

After I walked Max out I closed the door and heard another one open. I turned around and saw a half asleep Ethan coming out of his room.

Ethan - "Morning."

He yawned as he ruffled my hair as he walked by me. I looked at him as he started to make coffee. Damn Ethan's hot. He cut his hair a few days ago and O.M.G! I would do him right now...

Me - "What are you doing up?"

Ethan - "Reid is here and then there's a thing going on so the whole platoon has to be there."

I already knew that but he doesn't know that I know. He doesn't know Max comes in at night, or at least I hope he doesn't.

Me - "What time to do you have to be there?"

He poured his coffee in a cup.

Ethan - "I'll get there after Max so he doesn't think anything."

Shit.

Me - "What do you-"

Ethan - "I know he's been coming over or you go over. Don't think I'm stupid Milia."

Shit! I figured he'd find out. I feel like asking how long he's known but then it'll make things worst and I don't want to hear it. I shrugged my shoulders,

Me - "Oops."

He huffed and shook his head. He put everything down and faced me.

Ethan - "What's with you Milia? You've been acting weird since your birthday."

I rolled my eyes, for my birthday I just went to dinner with Alexandria, Wyatt, and Britney. They let me drink a little bit but I haven't been in the mood.

Me - "You seem to stare at me, you figure it out."

I said and walked away.

6:36am.

I went into my room and grabbed my phone to call my mom.

Mom - "Hello?"

Me - "Hey Mom. I'm so sorry, I've been busy with work and dancing."
