Not so normal life - Camren

Chapter 1

Lauren went all over the house making sure she had everything she needed to leave. Normally she would already be at work but this is the first time she is taking her daughter Nevaeh to work with her. She had to admit she was nervous. No one knew about her little devil except her best friend Normani and she didn't want to get fired for something she can't control. 

Obviously Nev wasn't really her daughter she'd be too young to have a 6 year old. Nev was her sister who she adopted because her parents were never around. She sighed. "Nevaeh Ariana Jauregui! If you don't get out here in one minute you can't play with Auntie". That did the trick. Nev loved playing dress-up with Mani. The little girl came out of her room hopping as she finished putting on her shoe. "Awww no fair. And we were gonna promise not to be messy this time!" she said as Lauren tied her shoes for her. Lauren laughed, picking up her daughter, carrying her out of the house and into the car.

When they finally parked on set, Lauren texted Simon. "I'm so sorry I'm late. I'm here now. You'll see why I was late in a few. Please don't get mad at me for not telling you sooner". Lauren got out of the car only to see Nevaeh out of the car already. She put her hands on her hips "What have I told you bout getting out of this car without me there?". Nevaeh looked down "I just want to show you I can be a big girl".  Lauren picked her up and carried her through the studio "I know you are a big girl but there are pretty weird people here on this lot".

The girl laid her head on her mother's shoulder as Lauren ignored the freaked out looks from the crew and walked out onto the platform where she knew everyone would be. Softly she said "Hey guys". Mani grinned as she heard Laurens voice. Then she froze and her eyes widened as she heard her favourite voice say "Auntie!". 

She giggled as she walked up and took the squirming girl out of her best friends arms. "Hey my little princess". Ari buried her head in Normani's shoulder, nervous that all these people were staring at her. "It's ok baby girl" Mani said as Lauren told the gang "This is Nevaeh Ariana Jauregui". CeCe rolled her eyes thinking Lauren was an attention hog as Camila asked "Your daughter?". Lauren giggled "she is my baby sister who I raised and adopted when she was a newborn". 

CeCe muttered "Great! Another reason everybody - especially Mila - to love her even more!". Normani's shot her a dirty look as she watched Nevaeh go to Camila. "Be careful Nevvy!". The girl ignored her aunt "Are you Camila?". She bent down next to her "Yes. That is me sweetie". Nev blurted out "Mommy talks about you all the time" not knowing that Lauren didn't want her to know. She held her arms out, a sign thatshe wanted to be picked up. Camila swiftly picked her up and was shocked at how easily and comfortable she felt in her arms. So we're Lauren and Normani. "Oh really?". Ari giggled as she wrapped her tiny arms around her neck and nodded into it. Camila walked up to a blushing Lauren and kissed her cheek, "You're so sweet! I am the exact same way Lolo" she whispered in her ear, making her blush even more.
