I looked down from my position in the tree, high above the graveyard, that David had been known to go to at midnight every night. I saw a wave from Polly who was stationed near the entrance and I signaled to Harriet who was stationed very near where most the graves were. I began climbing down the tree as he walked past slowly. I was trying to be as quiet and cautious as I could because I knew if I slipped and he heard, I was a gonner. I watched as Harry got her phone out of her back pocket in preperation to catch him in action. It was a very rainy evening, it was cold and none of us really wanted to be there, the baby had to be looked after by Polly's boyfriend Oliver, but none of that mattered, because we were finaly going to get prove that Dave was the killer.
Suddenly I felt my foot slip and I fell backwards out of the tree, I landed with a great big thump on the ground and I watched as a startled David walked slowly and cautiously towards me, I suddenly remembered the words he spoke in court.
I would never do anything to hurt you or your family, Kate-, Katie Noris, please believe me. I loved your sister from the bottom of my heart. I was asleep that night, and woke up to find her dead on some grass. When you came I was burrying her because I didn't know when you would be back. I was planning on calling you, but I never got round to it.
What a load of rubbish that was, he was now getting uncomfortably close, he knelt down right next to me, and I suddenly remembered that night, the last moments I had with Lizzy.
