*A/N:  Does anyone know who should play the part of Avery?  And if your reading this for one direction, don't worry theyre coming in in the next few chapters!*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was so confused on why Avery was sitting next to me.  I mean he is popular and I'm, well, I'm just me.  I wish just being me was good enough but around here, almost nothing is "good enough."  Then when I thought Id figured it our, he just truly didn't see me sitting here and thought he was alone, he turned to me and said "Do you mind if I sit here?"
So I just sat there nodding like an idiot because Avery Jennings was talking to me, Alexandria Holmes!  I don't even know how to talk to him like he's a normal teenager or even just a normal person, because I haven't talked to any kids my own age for over 4 months now.  When you add the fact that its Avery who is the first person to talk to me, it is nearly impossible!
  Almost like he had read my mind, Avery said "You know, its ok to talk to me! Just calm down, I'm a normal teenager like you!  Well as normal as I can possibly be!  He started laughing when he added that last part.  So like he said, I tried to calm down before I said "I know that I can talk to you, but normally your type of people just ignore me and carry on with their lives and with what they're doing."  Avery gave me a puzzled look and said "My type of people?  What does that mean?"
"It means that your popular and I'm me; an outcast who you wouldn't dare to be seen with in public, so there is obviously some reason that your sitting next to, out of all people, me"  I said very matter of factly.  This time, a little less confused, Avery looked up into my eyes and said "Ok, I guess so, I'm sorry about that, but can I please tell you something?"  "First tell me why your sitting next to me."  I demanded.
"OK." he said "Well you know my girlfriend Sarah?"  He paused to see if I did truly know her.  When I nodded yes he continued.  "She is a raving lunatic!  I really wanna break up with her, but I am literally afraid for my life!  So I came and sat next to you because she hates you and wouldn't expect me to sit by you...... Now can I tell you what I wanted to say before?"
"Hold up, why does Sarah hate me?  I mean I know she doesn't like me because I'm unpopular but hating someone is a whole different thing."  She said sounding a little hurt.
"She hates you because your extremely pretty and she takes that as a threat, so she gets everyone else to hate you.  If it weren't for her you would probably be the most popular person in school."  And you would be dating me.  I added that last part in my head.
*Alexandria's POV*
"Oh." I said in a much less confident voice than before, and nodded my head for Avery to continue with what he was going to tell me.
All of the sudden he looked super nervous and almost sick.  It kind of looked like he was having a hard time breathing.  Then he looked down to the floor and said something in an inaudible voice.  "What was that?  I couldn't hear you."
"Ihaveacrushonyouandthinkyourrealllypretty." He said super fast while stringing all of his words together.
It took me a moment to figure out that Avery had just told me that he had a crush on me and thought that I was super pretty!!!  I couldn't do anything but sit there amazed, confused and another part of me thought that this must be some kind of dare or joke on me so that I would look stupid thinking that Avery would like me.
"Is this supposed to be a joke?  Because if it is, your not being funny!"  I said in a sort of crushed voice.
"No!  God no I would never do that to you!  I am sorry you think that I would do that, but I promise you I would never hurt you or make you feel stupid.  I have had a huge crush on you ever since you moved here!  Do you trust me?"
I had butterflies in my stomach and could swear that we were the only ones on the bus, or in the world!  Avery and I were the only things that mattered at that moment.  Nothing and nobody else mattered at this very moment.
Right as I was about to tell Avery all my felling and that I fully trusted him, the bus screeched to a stop....
