Chapter 17

Thanksgiving day
Maya's POV :
I woke up at 1:00pm and did my usual routine then got dressed and went down stairs. I walked in the living room and saw mom and dad dressed and having a conversation .

Even though Chris and I are not married or nothing like that his parents like me so much that they wanted me to call them mom and dad .

They looked up at me after there conversation . "Hi beautiful ! how'd you sleep?" Mom said .

"I slept good thanks for asking, how'd you sleep ?" She smiled ." I slept good! Where's Chris ?" She asked .

I shrugged ." I honestly don't know . He wasn't in bed when I got up ." She shook her head . " I guess he'll just meet us at Amber's house ."

She said making her way out of the door with me and dad following behind her .

" Hello honey how you been ?" Kayla's  mom Amber asked hugging me tightly.

" I'm good ! how've you been?" She smiled letting me go ." I'm good thanks for asking and Kay's  upstairs ."

"Oh ok thanks Mrs.Green ." I said running upstairs to Kay's  room.

"Hey bitch !" I said opening the door .

"Hey girl !" Kay said messing with her hair.

" Damn why you looking so damn good ....it's just thanks giving dinner ?" I said with a smirk on my face .She bit her lip trying to hide her smile.

Then Jazz walked in . " Hey y'all !" She said
as Kay stared at her . "Kay what are you looking so damn good for and on top of that your glowing?" She asked with her hand on her hip.

" Because August is coming over and I'm going to his house to meet his family."  She said with a smile looking at herself in her mirror . 

I stood up and  examined her body frame and thought about how different she looked. I couldn't put my finger on what was so different but I know I'll figure it out.

I looked over at jazz and I assume that she was trying to figure it out just like I was by the way she was standing .

"I forgot to ask you what happened when August took you to go get your present?" Jazz asked with a slick smirk. Kayla showed us her tattoo and turned back to her mirror .

"What else happened?" I asked looking at her body frame again . "well we came back here and I lost my virginity ." She said mumbling the last part .

Jazz and I looked at each other in shock . " Say that again !" Jazz chuckled.

"August and I slept together!" She said loud enough so we could hear her. Jazz and I hugged her and started jumping up and down together like we was kids again.

" I'm so surprised that you lost your virginity after all this time, I was the first one .....then it was jazz and now you lost yours." I said smiling.

"Please tell me y'all used some type of protection ?Condoms ,birth control and etc ?" Jazz asked with her hand on her hip with a serious face.

"Yes mom we used protection!" She said smartly. " Gosh you guys act like my mom sometimes!"

"It's our job!" Jazz and I said at the same time.  

" So .... Jazz are you and Kevin a thing now or what ? I need details !" I said .She smiled at little. "No but we are just taking it slow." 

I nodded my head understanding why she's taking things so slow with kev. Kay  was about to say sum but we heard the door bell .
