She was his wife—the lady she vowed to keep him happy, the mother of their son, and his forever.

And yet, as the bulb flickers above him, he couldn't see the same lady. Under the lights, her features seem to be gaunter and sharp.

"Who the hell are you!?" he muttered, his voice breaking in the process.

A smile drew upon her face as she toys with a knife, tossing it repeatedly in mid-air.

"Your wife," she tossed the knife at a dart board beside her. "Your loving wife."

"Honey?"

He couldn't find his wife beneath her face. He really couldn't.

Instead, he tried to unlatch himself from the knots that pinned him down at an iron chair despite knowing that he can't.

"Don't even try to escape."

He shot him a fierce glance. "Why are you doing this?"

"What did you do to us 5 months ago?"

"What's so special five months ago?"

"Bullshit!"

She pulled another knife and jammed it at his left leg. The sting quickly sent him screaming in agony, blood oozing at his slacks.

"Think!" she screamed. "Don't you dare forget what you did five months ago."

"Fine," he said. "I... I almost got you killed."

The lady laughed and circled around the man. Another knife was dancing between her fingers.

"Almost," she whispered to herself.

"It was an accident. I... I was drunk and I didn't know what I was doing. Look if that's why you are doing this, I'm sorry that one of you had to go."

She laughed once again, dropping a bit of sadness in each mishap.

"It wasn't almost Daniel."

She sent her last knife flying straight to his heart.

And then she faced the kid behind her, who bears her facial features, but her dead sister's kind heart.

"Let's go," she said.
