CHAPTER 14

The two walked into camp dragonclaw was afraid of what flamestar was thinking. When she walked past some cats, she saw them giving her a displeased look and they whispered about her. "Why did she just hurt Fernsong for nothing shes a monster?!" "Is she crazy?" "I hope shes exiled i dont want her near my kits!" She dragged her fluffed up tail on the ground. It was filled with dirt and leaves but she didn't bother to clean it. She walked into flamestars den with her ears drooped down as if they where deflated. "f-flamestar i-im sorry ok! I-i-i didnt mean to do it! I-i was just upset a-and you can punish me any way y-you like be-because i was wrong a-and im sorry!" she staggered her words as she broke into tears. Flamestar turned around and walked over to her. "dragonclaw its aganst the code of claws to attack fight or kill a clan mate....but i wont hold that against you. i know that you where wrong but this isnt the first time some one has done this....honestly i had an outbreak like that before with the deputy of my clan so this makes you no different from me or anyone." she looked at him as he walked over and hugged her. She purred. Its like my father is still here. She looked up at him as his eyes flash from blue to red then back to blue the same colors as her fathers eyes. She gasped. "whats wrong dragonclaw?" she shook her head. "n-nothing i just thought i saw you with my fathers eyes for a second." flamestar nodded and she walked out of the den. She hopped down from the fire rock and saw fernsong walking out of the camp looking suspicious. Dragonclaw followed her as then she followed her to a dark cave it looks like as if she was talking to a spirit. "Did she attack you?" fernsong was as strong voiced as she had ever been. "yes bloodface she did ooh i just cant wait to sink my teeth into that deputy's neck and snap his spine open! Once i have done this dragonclaw will become the new deputy ill kill her as well. Then i will kill my way to the top and make sure i become leader once this is done i will take over fireclan and make it bloodclaws!" dragonclaw gasped at this. Now i see whats going on! Fernsong is a killer and shes working with a dark forest cat to take over fireclan!! "yes you know a lot now im prowed of you fernsong!" dragonclaw stepped on a pebble and it got stuck in her paw pad she yowled. The two cats raced to the cave entrance. "ITS DRAGONCLAW!" before she could run off she was caught by her tail. "look here dragonclaw i dont know how much you heard but who cares. You better keep your little mouth SHUT or you wont live to see daylight ever again! Got that?!" she nodded in fear at fernsong. Fernsong sliced her face leaving a huge mark. She was chased after by fernsong and bloodface she had soon come to a dead end over a cliff. Bloodface clawed at her and she almost fell over! The huge white tom walked forward until fernsong clawed at her chest digging a deep slit in it with blood flowing out as dragonclaw was pushed off the cliff. She hit the ground hard she had broken her paw coughing up blood she screamed weakly. "H-H-Help! Help me p-p-please! Anyone?" she layed there still coughing. She looked at her wings and tried to open them. "i kinda forgot i h-had these." she stood up trying not to get on her broken paw she lifted off the ground and flew back to camp. When she got in camp she stopped flying and crashed on the ground. A bunch of warriors came crowding the bloody she cat. Wingpelt ran out of the den pushing through the cats when he saw dragonclaw bleeding his heart felt like it was about to stop beating. "W-What happened!! Who did this?! Dragonclaw wake up!!" she was still unconscious on the ground blood still coming from her wounds. "WHO DID THIS TO HER!? Flamestar help!" he started to cry. Flamestar rushed from his den with the medicine cat behind him. "whats wro- dragonclaw!!" brokenleaf came out with some cobwebs, comfrey roots and borageleaves. "out of the way everyone!" she chews up some borage and spats them out. She rubs the leaves and comfrey roots on the gash on dragonclaw chest and then puts some cobwebs over it to stop the bleeding. She gets some palm tree leaves and ties the treatment together. She puts some leftover comfrey root on her face scar and puts cobwebs on it. "ok everyone i did as much as i could. I will tend to her leg once she wakes up be her heart is beating a little slow from all this so give her time to rest she needs it. Can someone help me get her into my den please?" two toms came and picked her up dragging her into the medicine cats den. Flamestar looked at wingpelt crying. "Who could have done this to her?! Out of all cats in this clan it HAD to be HER! WHY DRAGONCLAW?!" he yowled as his tears fell to the ground. He was very upset about this. Flamestar shook his head. "calm down wingpelt im upset about this too but." he was cut off by wingpelts frustration. "BUT nothing YOU HEARD BROKENLEAF her hear rate its beating too slow! She lost a lot of blood to this cat dog or whatever did this to her! She broke her paw! YOU DONT KNOW HOW HARD THIS IS ON ME!!" he looked up at flamestar with his face all grumpy. Flamestar snarled and wingpelt looked over his shoulder at the medics den. "sorry. I-i just really care about her and i dont want her to get hurt i-i really like her." his head drooped down so did his ears. Flamestar chuckled a bit and smiled. "hey dont worry kid i was just like you hey how about you go in the den with her just to keep watch over her." wingpelt nodded and walked into the medicine cat den and layed by dragonclaw grooming her belly fur purring still angry. "i dont know who did this to you but when i find out who ill make sure they never lay a claw on you ever again!"
