I jumped out of my skin when I heard a loud banging at the door of our dorm. I opened my eyes slowly and was greeted with the sight of the other members groaning and covering their heads with their blankets as Seungcheol banged his hands continuously on the door, wide awake and dressed.
"Come guys! Everyone up! I have come with news!" yelled Seungcheol to the beat of his banging fists.
"Go die or something." said Jihoon, taking Soonyoung's pillow from him and covering his face with it.
"Maybe some other day." said Seungcheol loudly, taking the pillow and throwing it back at Soonyoung. "For now, everyone sit up and give me all your love and affection."
"What's so important that you had to wake us up at six am. We went to bed four hours ago." complained Wonwoo. I checked my phone to see that Wonwoo was right. We had only gotten four hours of sleep. We usually woke up at eight which means that Seungcheol took away two hours of our sleep. This better be good.
"I'm glad you asked, garden fairy." said Seungcheol. "I just got off the phone with our manager, and I am about to announce the highlight of our year."
"Are you ever going to tell us?" Jeonghan asked his unbearably loud boyfriend.
"I don't know, should I?" asked Seungcheol teasingly.
"No. Tell us at eight." said Jihoon, laying back down and closing his eyes.
"You'll be delighted to hear that we have been invited to spend a month in America." suddenly I was wide awake, and so were quite a few other people. "We'll be staying at a hotel in Los Angeles and they'll have a bunch of activities set up for us to do with North American pop stars to help us promote Love Letter!"
Everyone cheered. America was one of the places we all waned to go to as a group, but we all thought it would be a while until we got the chance. Suddenly, the couch I slept on dipped as if someone sat on it. I turned my head to see Seungkwan smiling at me warmly. I smiled back at him and we went off.
"Can you believe we'll actually be spending a whole month in America? Oh my God, I'm so excited. It'll give me a chance to practice my english! And we'll get to meet and spend time with North American stars! Do you think we'll get to meet Ariana Grande? Oh jeez, I hope not. I'd make such a fool of myself. You'd probably love to meet Drake. I know you like him a lot. He's alright I guess but I don't think we'll get to meet him. Maybe Miley Cyrus though. *gasp* Oh my God, what if we meet Fifth Harmony! I'm not too into them, but I love love love Lauren and Dinah's voices, they're so soothing, especially Lauren's. Oh and we're going back where Joshua grew up! Do you think he's excited? I know I was when we went to Jeju. He could show us around! *gasp* What if we get to meet Zayn? Seungcheol! When do we get to leave?"
"Oh shit, I forgot to mention this is really last minute. That's why I wanted to wake you all up now. We're leaving tomorrow." said Seungcheol.
A chorus of 'what?!'s and 'what the hell, cheol!'s were heard through the room as everyone started getting up and running down the stairs to get their baggage.
