Jade's POV
The year has gone by fast since my birthday. It's already New Year's Eve. Right now I'm getting ready for the big New Year's party with Liv.
"Do I have to go?" Liv said laying on my bed.
"Yes." I said as I was sitting at my desk doing my makeup.
"Why?" She said in a whining voice.
"Because it's New Year's and we always spend it together."
"Well this year you can spend it with Jacob."
"No."
"Come on we both know that you would like to spend it with Jacob."
"Why don't you want to go?"
"Because all there is going to be is cute couples and rebounds and at the end of the night they will all be sucking faces and being their tongues down each others' throats."
"Come on there will be single guys there."
"Who do you think the rebounds are. Why can you let me be? Let me be single for the rest of my life and have twelve cats."
"Your allergic to cats."
"Well just Alone."
"Your going."
"Fine."
Liv and I got ready and headed to the party. When we got there we met up with Jacob and his friend Gray. Something tells me I will see more of him in the near by future from the way Liv is looking at him.
"Hey Babe." Jacob said to me giving me a kiss on my cheek.
"Hey Gray, What are you doing here? shouldn't you be in Jersey." Liv said.
"I live here now." Gray said.
"Great." Liv said sarcastically.
"Liv, me and Jacob are going to up to the roof." I said.
"Okay." Liv said.
"Don't leave. Okay?"I told her.
"Yeah, yeah." Liv said
After that me and Jacob went the roof.
"I love you." Jacob said.
"I love you too." I said smiling.
Liv's POV
After Jade left I decided to leave. I know she said not to go but I'm not about watch people kissing. Anyways as I was walking to the door I felt a strong hand grab my arm I turned around to see Gray.
"What?" I said.
"Where are you going?" Gray asked.
"Home." I said.
"Why?"
"Because I rather stay home then here."
"Come on we both know that you really don't want to spend your New Year's with your parents."
I rolled my eyes.
"How about me and you go somewhere?"
"Like where a place so I can murder you?"
"Very funny but no how about a place where there are no rebounds or couples."
"Okay, let's go."
After that me and Gray headed to some abandon workhouse.
"Why are we here?" I said
"I want to show you something."
Gray grabbed my hand and took me up stairs to the roof.
"Wow you can see everything from here." I said surprised.
"Yeah, I found this place after my parents got a divorce."
"I'm sorry."
"For what it's not your fault."
"Not for that."
"Than for what?"
"For being a jerk."
"How were you a jerk?"
"I always thought that you were a to good for school kid and a player. I never really gave you a chance to show who you are."
"You know the first time I met you I thought you were the most beautiful but selfish girl. But I was wrong about the selfish."
"I forgive you."
"I forgive you too."
Me and Gray started leaning towards each other so close to the point that we kissed each other for a few seconds till we heard are phones ring. We both looked the time and said "Happy New Year's." Moments later we decided to go back to the party before Jade notices.
Jade's POV
"Hey have you seen Liv?" I asked Jacob.
"No but have you seen Gray?" Jacob asked.
"No." I said.
"Wow you guys are blind." I heard someone say behind me I quickly turned around to see Liv and Gray standing there.
"Where were you?"
"I was HERE." Liv said making a point.
"We should go before you go crazy." Liv said.
"Yeah I see you tomorrow babe." I said to Jacob.
Liv and I said bye to Gray and headed back to my house.
"So did you kiss anyone?" I asked Liv.
"Yeah I did."
"Really who?"
"Gray."
"What I thought you hated him?
"Nope all is well."
"So where did you go?"
"I can't tell you."
"Why?"
"Because it's me and his little secret."
"I'm happy for you."
"Why me and him are just friends?"
"For Now."
