It was a cold night, Scorch wouldn't light the firewood that Jewel brought because it could alert the king like a signal fire. Luckily, Jewel did have just enough strength to grow a fort made out of trees, which was what they were used to. They all huddled up to keep warm, even though Scorch wasn't comfortable with the idea. She knew that it would help Jewel get her strength back which she needed for her journey ahead, but everyone was too close for comfort. Jewel felt the others falling asleep by her tendency of slowly hugging the closest cat next to her, which of course, was Scorch, because she was the warmest, so everyone was close to her. Scorch wasn't able to fall asleep all night, even though she needed her strength. She needed more visions. Her orb hadn't given her enough memories to be the first one found, even though she was the oldest and the one who has had visions for the longest. Why do I have to be the one to get the most untrusting one when that fits Jewel's description totally. I wonder what happened to her that made her like that. But of course, that doesn't matter. She trusts me, Aqua, and Cloud. Her series of thoughts stopped as she drifted off to sleep. Aqua was the first to wake up because of a vision, but he refrained from waking everyone else.
Cloud twitched strangely. Within her dream: Flying through the clouds to an orb that is silvery white. She looked down, where she saw Jewel with her orb, lying unconscious. Bam! She was falling down from the sky when she got caught. She was on a half grown vine where she was standing and still she couldn't go any further. The maker of the vine lost her consciousness. Cloud pinched herself. Yes, she was awake. Beside her was Aqua, who was watching her.
"Yes, you're awake." he said to her in a soft whisper. All she could do was nod. "Vision?" he asked, she nodded again. "Me too." then he hugged her, trying to calm her down. "Did you see your orb?" Again she nodded. "I might have seen the place where it was at but I don't know how to get to it." Silence was in response, she didn't calm down enough to talk. "Where?" she pointed at Jewel. "Somewhere above Jewel's." Finally someone who gets me and listens, she thought to herself, relieved. Maybe there is a new home for me, somewhere with my new family, peacefully with these three. All thoughts given the current situation disappeared as she realized that peace was a long ways away from now. Finally, Scorch woke up and tried to stand with Jewel on her back. She sighed and rolled her eyes. Of course, the struggle woke Jewel up.
"Okay, so everyone is awake now, right?" Scorch asked. Jewel moaned, Cloud clawed the ground, and Aqua stood up. "I guess that's a yes. Now, were there any visions in your guys sleep?" asked Scorch, looking at all of them
"Yeah," Aqua put his paw up.
"Okay, share." said Scorch
"There was a cave." he tried to concentrate on what he had seen. "I was encased in ice, and there was water surrounding me, but the strange thing is that the recent visions aren't memories of the past, but prophecies or possibilities of the future, and I don't think this was about me, I think it was my orb's future prophecies." He glanced at Scorch, and she put on an understanding expression.
"It'll be better if we're all there when we go searching for your orb. It might be dangerous, so it's better if we all go." said Jewel.
"No, you won't." said Cloud, finally finding a place to butt in.
"Why not?" Jewel asked
"Well, maybe it would be for the better," Cloud mumbled.
"What?"
"I had a vision too." said Cloud softly.
"What was it?" Jewel asked kindly, trying not to freak her out more.
