Chapter 1: The New Kid

"Should we stop him?,"I ask kim.

"I don't know he's just being a jerk maybe we should just let him be him." She says,"Well you can stay here for all I care but I'm going to end this once and for all," I say and march over to Alex the captain of the football team he's also really popular,a preppy boy.

"Leave him alone!,"I shout and push alex out of the way. "What the hell!," he shouts and grabs my arm firmly,"Let go of me you jerk!," I say trying yank away then he let's me go so I slip and fall to the floor."You should watch who you're talking to,slut!," he yells before walking away. I pull myself up to my feet when I see a hand out to help me up. Its was the boy who was getting picked on and I saved him from alex's beating. "Are you okay?," I suddenly hear a voice then I look up to see his cute average face. He has fair skin,shaggy black hair,blue eyes and a great smile. "Are you just gonna sit there or do I have to pick you up?," he says in a very cute and romantic voice. I blush without realizing it and he smiles at me with his sweet dimples and I reach out to his hand and pull myself up to my feet."Thanks for saving me back there,"he says with another sweet smile,"Oh no problem, he's always picking on someone." "You must be new, am I right?," I ask slightly with a smile. "Heh, yes I guess that's obvious huh?," "Hehe, you want a tour?,"I ask with a small giggle."Oh,please I would love that." He says with a twinkle in his eye. "This is hallway C, it leads to the science classrooms,and over here is hallway B this one leads to the english classes,over there is hallway A and that leads to all the math classes." I say and turn to his lost face,"Umm...you okay?,"I ask and he looks at me,"Oh yeah I just thought this place would be smaller,like it was online,"he said and looked at his schedule."May I?," I ask reaching over to his schedule and he smiles handing it to me."Hmmm...oh we have math together and p.e."I say somewhat excitedly. "Okay, now down at the left corner is the auditorium which is right next to the gym,and over on the right corner are all of the art classes,choir,and the clubs." "Is there anything I should know?" He asks,"Erm..well there is of course alex's main hangouts are behind the gym,next to the girls locker room,and in the boys bathroom,so steer clear of him and him group of idiots."I say and look him directly in the eyes,"Are you guys like together or something?," he asks with worried eyes. I laugh and he looks at me weirdly. "Oh god no,I'm single." I say without thinking. Oh my god what did I just say to him. I'm so stupid.

He smiles. Oh god what is he thinking???

"So is that all of the tour?," he says,"Yeah." I say and turn to walk away.

"Where can I find you at lunch?," he asks quickly and I turn around,"I'm always going down hallway B then I walk to the cafeteria,"I say after I turn to walk away.

I walk to class and then I remember that I left my money at home. Crap what am I suppose to do now?

I go through all of my classes and finally its lunch,but as soon as I start walking through hallway B I hear yelling and I quickly run down the hall too see alex pushing around the new guy. Damn it! "Alex! Leave him alone!," I yell and run inbetween them. "Get out of the way,slut!," he yells and shoves me to the lockers and I fall to the floor. My eyes blurr out then I wake up in the new guy's arms, he's carrying me to what seems the nurses office when I suddenly jerk and he looks down at me with a smile. "Where are you taking me?," I ask. "To the nurses office, I got worried about you."

"Oh, I think I'll be okay." I say somewhat unsure if I'm really ok,"Okay, hey the bell already rang for the next class,so what now?,"he asks and I hear his stomache grumble. "Well we can still eat lunch,I know the lunch ladies they're family friends and they'll let me have anything I'd want so we're covered,"I say and smile,he looks at me then sets me down lightly on the floor feet first.
