"I find peace in the rain..,"she said standing in the middle of the street, looking up at the sky.
Those were the first and last words anyone would ever hear her say.
Two weeks later I tried to get her to say something again, but she wouldn't move her lips, she wouldn't write it down either, and she always refused to learn sign language. She won't even laugh. But I guess that's how it's always been.
She had a broken heart, a broken mind, a broken spirit, and no one knew why.
