"Bye, thank you." I shyly said while getting off the bus. I looked like a lost puppy who didn't know where to go so I followed a random person to the cafeteria. I scanned the area not knowing a single person while waiting in line to get my schedule. By the time I had received my schedule it was time to head to class and of course I had to get lost. When I finally thought I found my class I walked in nervously then found out that I wasn't suppose to be in there till the following day. Finally me and two girls found our first period and awkwardly walked in. The teacher said,"ladies, please have a seat. One there, one there, and one there." I sat at a table, and the following group members said hi to me as I quickly mumbled hi back. I quietly sat at my seat while the instructor directed us through our first assignment. I still remember the frequent chills I got and my constant shaking of my knee as she told us we would be talking to our group and the class quite a lot. When it was my turn to speak I softly said "umm my name is z.z...zoey, I like sports and art and I'm 14." It felt like I was in the class for hours and then finally she dismissed us to our second period which was no picnic when I arrived. I waited outside the classroom with a guy named Xavier, we started talking and instantly became friends. Unfortunately when we walked in class Mrs. Gomez sat us at opposite sides of the room. This resulted in us quickly glancing over to each other every once in a while through her boring lectures on class rules and expectations. He threw in a smile every once in a while then waited for me after class.
