"Riddle me this: what happens when a group of tall, inhumanly handsome, foreign men walk into your high school, and one of them turns out to be your soulmate? Shit hits the fan, and did I forget to mention...they're werewolves. Oh yeah, I think the fan is broken from all the shit that's hit it."
~Luana & EmiliaThe sky was covered in dark clouds, threatening to rain down on the unsuspecting students in the quad. Luana and Emilia sat under one of the few trees that occupied the school grounds. It was perfectly positioned to where they could overlook the entire quad area.
"So, what do you think about Fane's decision?" Emilia asked with a smirk plastered on her face.
Luana rolled her eyes. "If a man could be as stupid as to lock his woman in a room and actually think she won't find a way out of there, then he is the most idiotic man in existence. No matter how hot he may be," she stated, slamming the book down to the ground. The main character in the series the two friends were reading was acting so childish that they had started ranting about his ridiculous antics.
Emilia laughed. "I know, right! Sometimes the men of this race can be so stupid."
"See, this is why we are the more dominant sex!" Luana took her thumb and jabbed it into her chest. "Women make the babies and are more rational than men. What more could you ask for? I swear, sometimes we are way too underappreciated."
"True dat," Emilia sighed, laying her head down on the grass and watching the leaves dance in the wind.
"Did you hear about the exchange students coming to Mesa?"
Emilia propped herself up on her elbows. "Yeah, I heard they were from Romania."
Luana nodded slightly and cast her eyes down to the entrance of the school. "Aren't they supposed to arrive today?"
"Yeah, wanna go greet them?"
Emilia and Luana exchanged glances, smiles breaking out on both their faces.
"Sure, why not?" Luana said, getting up and helping Emilia to her feet. "I mean there's gonna be like tons of girls waiting for them, so why not add to the fray?"
"Sounds like a plan."

Channing sniffed the morning air; he could tell there was a spring storm coming by the sharp hint of rain that bombarded his senses, but what caught his attention was the subtle trace of winter in the air. The fragrance was faint, but it was enough to make his wolf stir. He looked around at the blooming flowers and green grass, confused. It was supposed to be the middle of spring, and yet there was a scent of freshly fallen snow and pine needles.
"Channing, let's go." Rinchol's voice broke him from his trance. Realizing he looked like a fool with his nose up in the air, he started toward the car. "Are you alright?" Rinchol grasped Channing's shoulder.
"Yes, my friend." Channing smiled, hoping it looked genuine, but he knew Rinchol wouldn't buy it. Thankfully, Rinchol didn't press him about it, but he did give him that signature look that said We're going to talk later. Channing sighed and enter the car with Rinchol close behind him.
"You look distressed Channing." The Alpha, Darius, spoke.
Channing gave a small smirk, and leaned back into the seat. "Distressed?" He shook his head. "Sunt la fel de calm ca vantul." (I am as calm as the wind.)
Darius shook his head, a low rumble of a laugh bubbling in his chest. He turned to Ronan, his Beta, and whispered something that made the other male smirk. "Oh, Channing," Darius gave his third a sympathetic smile. "I pity you. Remember, we're in America, and if you keep that calm, flirty personality, one day you're going to find yourself in some deep rahat." (shit)
