Afraid

Arvilla was startled awake to the moans and screams of her best friend. She gently maneuvered a sleeping Amber from her boobs and snuck downstairs. She creaked the door open to the room and went into the bathroom to grab his pain meds and a glass of water, then crawled into bed and felt around for Edd's head. "Sweety, it will be ok. Just deep breathes, alright?" She finally found his head and pulled Edd up. "Wait, wha-" She yelped as she felt shoulders entirely too broad to be Edd's. She hopped out of bed and fumbled for the light.
Kevin quickly shielded his eyes, and Edd still laid still aside from his chest fluttering quickly from hyperventilating, otherwise paralyzed from the pain. Her eyes quickly flew over to Kevin, but decided to ignore him for now. She crawled next to Edd and gave him his meds.
"Ar.. Arvilla.. It.. It hurts.. So bad.." Tears streamed down his face as she pulled him close and rubbed circles in his back. "I.. I can't.."
"Edd, darling, keep it together. You'll be ok. I'm here." Arvilla buried her fave in his shoulder, still peering at Kevin, who was now getting out of bed and throwing his clothes on.
"I should probably go."
"You wanted him back so bad, but now that you see what he goes through you run away?" She hissed.
"It's not that, Arvilla."
"Then what?"
"He's really.."
"No. Don't be like this. Come here, Asshat." She extended her arm, which Kevin accepted the invitation and leaned close to her. She pulled him close and petted his hair. "Stop running away from each other. I'm trying to make him happy, and he's happiest with you." Kevin leaned into her and sobbed in her hair.
"What do I do?" His whole body shook as the realization hit him.
"Give him support, let him know you're here for him."
"His last days are getting closer, Arvilla. I.. I don't know how I can make it better. "
"You can't. And you have to realize that. Let him know you're here for him, but give him the space he needs." They sat in silence, listening to Edd's breathing as it slowly calmed. "Well, He's going to be knocked out for a little while. Would you like to stay, Kevin? I don't mind. I'll have to return to the sassy being under the covers eventually before she thinks I ditched her." Kevin nodded and pulled himself away, grabbing Edd and holding him to his chest.
Arvilla creeped out of the bedroom and walked into the living room and quickly ducked behind a wall as she observed bickering from Ang and Sy, who currently had Ang's Chanel Dress tied to a belt loop, twirling a Lacy red thong in her right hand as she sang Little Wonders and sprinted out the door.
Ang, who was only wearing Sy's Misfits Tshirt ran out the door after her. "You can't just run away when you admitted that you love me, damnit!" But it was useless, as Sy was already speeding through the parking lot on her motorcycle tauntingly spinning Ang's underwear.
"Uh. I have some clothes you can wear." Ang spun around and gave Arvilla a once over.
"Purple isn't really my color- I kean I look good in anything, look at me! But I guess I can make do."
Arvilla snuck in to Edd's room and grabbed a pair of purple leggings and Knee High black suede boots ang could wear. Her eyes lingered on Kevin and Edd, where were in a sweet embrace, Edds mouth hanging slightly open and Kevins face buried in Edd's newly grown hair.
