The last two days, Sae Ron was all over my mind.
I don't know what had gotten into me that night in the party. Seeing her laughing in Taehyung's arms was like a trigger, a wake-up call that I needed to make a move. And I did.
She wants me to believe that she doesn't feel for me as strongly as I do while her actions speak otherwise. Whenever we stand in close proximity, a rosy blush automatically rises up her cheeks. During the dance, I could feel her heart beating just as fast as mine. I could see it in her eyes. The concern. The care. The love. I could see it all.
I just don't know why she's hell bent on lying about her feelings.
That aside, I have never felt more eager to go to office than I am today. The urgency to see her beautiful face again has doubled, probably tripled even, over the past two days.
Sae Ron, get ready to confess your feelings cause you're definitely not getting away today.
Fixing my tie, I take the navy blue suit in my hand and head for the dining room. I feel my day brighten a little when I don't come face to face with my father at the dining table. But there's still Jimin hyung picking at his strawberry jam.
He speaks up the moment his eyes fall on me. "Jungkookie! You are early today. Here, come and eat breakfast. You always leave without finishing your food." If it was any other day, I'd probably have been annoyed at his nagging but it seems my mood today is too good for me to utter a harsh word. I pull out a chair for myself and sit down.
Jimin hyung stares oddly at me for a couple of seconds as he passes a plate to me. I raise a brow at him. "Mwo?"
He shakes his head. "Nothing. It's just that....I haven't seen you smiling like this for a long time- "
"Omo, I've been dying to say that too," exclaims my omma as she strides out of the kitchen. Yes, I have finally brought myself to properly call her omma now. "Our Jungkook has been smiling a lot lately. I wonder why...." She trails off and shoots me a faint sideways smirk. She knows.
"I will stop smiling if that's what you guys want me to do. I don't care anyway." I start digging into my food as my omma and Jimin hyung share a look with each other. Then, being the two over-excited goofs they were, both of them let out a shriek simultaneously. "Aniya!!!"
"Please, keep smiling," omma says in a pleading tone. "Ne, we won't bother you at all," Jimin hyung adds. I wish to laugh at their silliness so badly but I know for a fact that they will tease me all day if I do. So, I do the wise thing and concentrate on my breakfast instead.

I feel my smile broaden with each step I take towards my cabin. Is she here already? What is she wearing today? Will she blush when she sees me? What if she......
Wait, when did I turn into a lovesick puppy who can't wait to meet his crush?
Chastising myself for being so impatient, I push open the door to my cabin and my eyes immediately turn to the right.
"Oh, you're here. Annyeong. Your schedule for the day has already been sorted. You have a meeting with the Shinway group at 9:30. Then, at 11:00, you are supposed to meet a client from Taiwan. You don't have any other major meeting during the rest of the day. But you have a lot of paperwork pending. So- "
"Wait. Stop," I cut off her rambling. "What are you trying to do, Sae Ron? I'm not going to flee out of my own office. I'm going to be here all day. You don't have to mention every detail at once." I can't help the slight irritation lacing my tone. This was not the kind of reaction I was expecting from Sae Ron. Definitely not.
