  Prologue

Janet Rose Locke was a normal girl that faced many challenges at sixteen. Her father was never part of her life and when she was younger it bothered her but not anymore. Having such a beautiful and caring mother that not only acted as her mother but a father as well made things come to perspective. She didn't need a dad when she already had a amazing mother at her side. But when tragedy strikes and her mother passes away,her world crashes down. Despersate to make it she resorts to selling drugs to pay her house until Jason Drastic saves her and helps her get back into her normal life.
After two years she falls helplessly in love with Justin Drastic. Her happiness and only love,her entire world. During the summer before her senior year starts Justin tells her he has to leave for a family thing. At first, she tries everything to go along but her attempts are futile. She prepares for his depature and doesn't let him see how much she was hurting. As summer goes along, she realizes that she couldn't really smile after he left. She was glum and depressed over the summer.
No sleep came because of the nightmare of that horrible night. After almost three agonizing months without Justin she becomes anxious to see him again. But now things are different.He's differnet and there's many different things going on all aroung her.In school she meets Derek, Justin's step brotherand drama that is soon to come. She really believes the year will be amazing but also has a feeling it will be life changing. Isn't that strange? Well not as strange when you realize that supernatural creatures are real. Without warning she will become sucked into the supernaural world becauase she gets attacked and becomes a halfling{vampire/ werewolf}. Not only does she wake up not human but she forgets her love Justin.
Will she survive the pain and suffering heading her way? Especially when she finds out she's different?
