In every single school I went to even though they were quite 'good' there was always a bully and for some reason no uniform or dress code, so the weird senior girls could wear whatever they wanted, and that was NO good thing. But, I somehow managed to survive! So YAY!
OH YEAH! My first day of high school is tomorrow! Ah, I can't wait! Me, Alex and Katie were laying down on the hill under our treehouse. It was a beautiful sunset.
"Oh, I'm gonna miss all that free time," Katie sighed. "Now that we're secondary students we'll have a TON more homework than we did in Primary School. We'll have so much less time to play online and stuff!"
"I know, right?!" Alex exclaimed and frowned. "But know that even though I might be hanging out with my 'bros' I'll always be here for both of you."
"It's amazing how you two get along, though." I smirked. "I never got along with my brother."
"Oh yeah, how is he?" Katie Asked.
"He's fine, he's dying though." I said, upset. "The hospital said he'd never be able to survive the operation, so cancer is just going to kill him." I started tearing up. "I just wish I was nicer to him..."
"He wasn't nice to you, though!" Alex defended me. "You defended yourself and that's what you had to do. You weren't mean, you were strong. Tough. Responsible."
I got a text. It was from mum saying I had to go.
"Ugh, I gotta go." I sighed and got up. "See you tomorrow at school, okay?"
"Okay!" Katie smiled. "We'd better get going too. Bye!"
"Good luck!" They hugged me and I went home. Ah, first day of high school, here I come!
**tomorrow morning at 7:45**
"LIV WAKE UP!!" Mum shouted. "YOU ONLY HAVE 15 MINUTES TO GET READY!"
"AAAH!" I shouted and jumped out of bed. "I'm up! I'm up!" I put on a cute outfit and went downstairs. "Mum I'm gonna have breakfast at McPonalds because we don't have anything good here."
"Oh, are you sure you don't want a lift?" Mum offered. "I can miss 5 minutes of work if you like."
"No, it's fine. See you!" I grabbed my bag I packed last night and went off to a Café instead to get a Mocha, a cupcake and a slice of buttered bread. Once I had breakfast I headed to school. School started at 8:30 and it was 8:15 so yeah! I was looking for Alex and Katie when I found them near the water fountain.
"Hey guys!" I smiled and ran to them. "How ya doing?!"
"Great, you?" Alex replied checking his schedule.
"I'm great! What class are you guys in?" I asked.
"Same as you!" Katie said as she checked the schedule.
"Great!" I said as the bell rang. "Let's go!"
I wasn't that clever when it came to studies and stuff but I managed to get through until lunch perfectly. Weird thing is, after school you can choose to do Geography, History and Sex Ed. OR you could do PE, Singing and Dancing! Of course, I chose PE singing and dancing and so did Alex and Katie, hooray! But anyway, we were at our lockers going to lunch when someone came up to me.
"Well well well! Look what we have here! Little freshmen." He smirked and his 2 friends behind him laughed. He pinned me to my locker. "Give me your lunch, kid. I forgot to pack."
"Stay away from her!" Alex shouted and pushed him onto the lockers on the opposite side.
"If you EVER go near my best friend again you'll be decapitated, GOT IT?" Katie frowned.
"Huh, fine. I don't have time for you now." He got up. "I'll get you, little freshman."
"What's a freshman again?" I whispered to Katie.
"It's a way Americans say 'new student'. I think he's just trying to be intimidating." She replied.
"H-Hi, I'm Amy!" A girl came up to me. "I'm also a new student here and... do you not know who that guy is? I've been here the same time as you and I already know..."
"Oh yeah, I saw you in class!" I smiled. "And no, I haven't... what about him?"
"What about him?!" Amy seemed shocked. "Ryan is really mean and super popular with the ladies. He's only been here for a year but because he didn't pass any tests last year he's still in freshman classes. He flirts with senior girls and they push him away - all except Tess and her friends Eva and Lily. Tess is obsessed with him but he doesn't feel the same way. Anyway, Ryan's trouble so watch out."
"I will, thanks!" I smiled. "Wanna have lunch with us?"
"I'd love to!" Amy smiled and we had lunch together! Okay, can't wait for singing!
