Roaming around the woods alone at night was not the best idea she could come up with at the last minute, but she went with it, she had to get away, she had to leave. Staying in that house with her parents was torture.
She reached for her jacket that was hung on the hanger behind her bedroom door and her boots from the floor and walked out the door.
An hour had passed since she left the house, the sky was getting darker by the minute and she was getting further from the house by every step, but she didn't care.
Christina finally halted and took a second to look around. She was in the middle of nowhere, she actually didn't know where she was. She reached her hand to the pocket of her jacket and she didn't feel her phone, her hands automatically went to the back pocket of her jeans, she couldn't seem to find her phone or recall when was the last time she actually used it. "Fuck" she rubbed her forehead, groaning.
She was in the middle of the woods, with no phone and no money, all she had was a dollar in her jacket pocket from the change she had gotten the last time she had worn thar jacket and a little note that had a number of a guy she had met few weeks earlier at the pub, but never actually cared enough to call or text so she just left it in her pocket to be forgotten.
