Kate's POV

*************

"If you could just get it in the elevator I can get it the rest of the way, thanks." I told the mover as he put the last piece of furniture off his truck. It was taking him forever and I'm pretty sure I could do it faster.

"That'll be $200." He said as he waited for me to pay him.

"Um, I don't think so, it took you all day to move my stuff, the most I'm paying you is $100."

"Sorry but that's the charge ma'am, $200 ."

"Whatever," I mumbled as I gave him the money, and walked in the elevator to get to the 3rd floor. Just as it was about to close, some guy stopped it.

"I'll just get it when it comes back down." He said to me as he looks at the recliner chair taking up most of the space in the elevator.

"Oh I'm sorry." I said to him with an apologetic look.

"Nah, its fine I'm in no rush." he said and gave me a small smile.

While I was waiting for the door to close, I took a second to look him over, he was actually really hot, he's wearing blue jeans and a T-Shirt, he looks like he works out, and he has shoulder length black hair.I caught his eye right before the door closed and he was looking at me with a smirk on his face, well I guess he caught me checking him out.

I looked down at myself, all I was wearing was some old shorts and my brothers old shirt, since I knew I was going to get sweaty and didn't bother to dress up. I hope I didn't look to bad. My Long brown curly hair was up in a ponytail and I was sweaty so I hope I didn't stink to bad.

When the elevator opened on my floor, I got the chair out and started to drag it to my door, which was only about 5 doors down, it wasn't that hard. When I got to my apartment I opened it and tried to pull the chair in, it wasn't working. I was about to give up when the guy from the elevator incident walked up.

"Need some help with this?" The man asked.

"No, I almost got it." I was being stubborn, but I would get it eventually.

"Here . . ."

All of a sudden the chair was lifted up and with me pulling and him apparently pushing, it is was inside and I let out a yelp as I landed on my ass.

"My bad." He apologized as he helped me up.

"Damn right it's your bad jackass." My butt hurt from the fall. "I said I had it, I didn't need your help."

"Hey, no need for name calling, I was just being a friendly neighbor." he said as he held his hands up in surrender and a small smile on his face.

"I know, I'm sorry, I've just had a long day." I said with a sigh.

"It's alright, I'm Henry by the way." He said as he held out his hand with a sweet smile on his face.

"I'm Kate, nice to meet you, and thank you for your help."

"No Problem, just let me know if you need anymore help moving anything." He said as he turned around and unlocked the door right across the hallway.

He turned around gave me a sly smile and shut the door. Damn he is so hot and what were the chances of him living right across the hallway. I wonder if he's seeing anybody .

I shut my door and decided to unpack until it was time to go to bed. I just got the stuff out to make up my bed and things ill need tonight.I put some loud rock music on before I got ready to take a shower. I got undressed and was about to step into the shower when I saw a note taped to the shower door. DO NOT USE. SHOWER HEAD BROKE. WILL BE FIXED June 30th. MAINTENANCE. "Really," I said in a dead tone. I guess I'm not getting a shower tonight. I thought as I looked for some clothes to sleep in.
