"Are you ready Emily?" the tall brown headed girl hears her mother scream from downstairs. She rolls her eyes, as she grabs her last box, staring at her empty room she has spent her whole life in. She had an overwhelming feeling inside of her, this is the first time she had ever had to move. A new school, new friends, and a total new place. She did not like the idea of it, she didn't like meeting new people. As her mom yells again, she smiles shyly, as she shuts her door and says goodbye to her childhood home."This is it," Emily says to her friends Spencer Hanna, and Mona who are standing downstairs waiting to say goodbye to their best friend Emily. They have been friends their whole life, Hanna and Emily lived next door to each other since they were 2, and when they started kindergarten they met Mona and Spencer, and ever since then the girls had been inseparable. "I can't believe I have to leave you three," Emily pouts, and drops her boxes too bring them all into a group hug.
"We will miss you Emily," they all say as Emily picks her box up, and finishes loading her moms car. She opens her moms car door, as she looks around finally coming to realization she is leaving her hometown and never coming back. "Hurry Emmy, we have to meet your dad at the airport in less than an hour, and we still have too pick your brother up from your aunts," her mom complains.
As they pull off, she waves goodbye to her friends, hoping too see them again very soon. They all promised they would visit as much as possible, but Emily doesn't even believe they will stay in touch. As they pull off down the road, she hears her friends scream, "you got this Emmy. Don't be stubborn, make new friends. We love you," and that's all she could hear as they take a left turn and pull up into her aunts driveway too pick up her brother.
"I can't believe you and dad, I don't understand why I can't just live here with Aunt Jess." Her brother yells to his mom, as he opens the back car door and sets his stuff inside. "You will love this place honey, it is where me and your father grew up. Its a beautiful community." Pam, Emily's mom explains, trying to brighten her children's mood up a bit. "It's like you guys hate us or something, a new town, total new people, why? I can't stand you guys." Tyler, Emily's brother, says as he throws one of his hissy fits in the back seat. Emily's mother just rolls her eyes, and turns around knowing there's nothing she can do or say that'll make her son feel any better.Emily turns around and smiles at her brother, "bub, it's okay. We got each other in this small town." Her brother smiles, he puts his fist up, as Emily bumps it. It's their signature thing, they've done it since they were three years old. Him and his sister have always seemed to get along very well. They're twins, and they have been inseparable since the day they were born. "Thanks sis, you're right. It's still annoying, I've never been too good at making friends as it is, and now we have to move too a whole new town where I have to try and make new friends." All her brother ever really had was his friend Jake, and his girlfriend Hailey, who he was so heartbroken over leaving. He wanted too try long distance, but Hailey said it wouldn't work, and they broke up a week before they were scheduled to move. "I know how you feel Ty, but maybe this town will be different. We have too give it a try." Emily explains, as her brother just nods.
"Ready?" Her mom smiles, both kids just give her a nod, as they pull out of their aunts driveway and head to the airport to pick up their father. Both kids are not too excited to see their father at the moment.

As they approach Rosewood, both kids get awoken by their father tapping on there shoulder, "we're here guys." Emily just rolls her eyes, and outs her headphones back in and stares at the window. As much as she wants too say she'll hate this place, she is already growing to love it. It's so pretty, especially during the fall. It has so many trees, and has a few bodies of water here and there, Emily is already beginning to adore it. Shes always been one who loves to travel, she has been everywhere, and little towns have always seemed to fascinate her, but the thought of living in one never seemed to cross her mind, until well, now. As they approach their new house, Emily can't hold in her excitement. "It's beautiful," she says, not realizing she had said it out loud. "Isn't it?" Pam speaks, "it's my childhood home." Her mother smiles proudly, and begins to unload the car.
