One morning Ruth woke up to the twin crying in their cribs and picking them both up they stop. Both boys looking into her eyes she smile hearing a knock on the door she look over she put the boys down and opened the door. It was the landlord asking for the money for the farm or she will have to take the boys and go. " Can we have a week to pack up our stuff?" She asked with a worried voice. " You  have till sundown tomorrow." He got in a carriage as it drove away, Ruth shutting the door started crying and so did the boys picking them both up again she said to them " The only I want for you two is a good life, and I can't give you one." They stopped crying, Her husband waking up came out near her said " Did the landlord come today?" " Yes." She answered crying again " We have until sundown tomorrow, or they're going to take the farm." " I think we need his help." Her husband said sternly she answered " But it always comes with a price we can't we are out of money and have nothing else to save the farm."
Instead of her husband listening to her he went out in the night and called out "Rumplestiltskin" appearing in his mysterious ways " What is it you need of this time?" Rumplestiltskin said with his giggling laugh. "I need help to get my farm back." he said.
" So you need money to be free of fear with losing your farm?" Rumplestiltskin said " Yes." He answered " Well all magic comes with a price you must be willing to pay." Rumple said " Ok I will pay anything." He said " Your firstborn." Rumple said "Bring heir to me at sunrise and you will not lose your farm." " Just sign on the dotted line."
After signing he left and went home.At dawn he got up grabbed James and took him to Rumple, He took him and gave the husband a bag a gold. Going back to his house Ruth was awake and said " You traded James? For our farm?" Crying she held David close to her heart. And said " I promise I won't let you go."
