Jeff's POV
"Hello?" I call out as my every step creaks the cold wooden floor.
"Hello? Anyone home?" I call again, my heart....pumping faster....its a strange sensation.
I hear a deep groan from a dark corner in the room where I stand.
"Jeff..." I hear, as I turn around.
A dark figure walks out of the darkness, only to reveal long, black tentacles, and a blank, pale white face.
"Haha, Slendy!" I say, opening up my arms for a hug.
"How are you buddy?" Slendy says to me, wrapping his long skinny arms around me, crouching down so he reaches.
"I'm good, hey." I say in my normal American accent.
I watch Slendy walk to the cob-web ridden window, and peer outside into the dark, dank forest that surrounds the dilapidated house.
"Slendy, we need to talk..." I say, taking a seat on an old rocking chair next to the window.
"Is something wrong, Jeff?" He says with a certain type of concern in his voice.
Me and Slendy have been friends for a while now. We always hung out. Caused trouble and didnt care. We were inseparable right up until the time I met Anna. Then...he started to drift away...
"I...I dont know..." I start to say. I stare out the window. I see Anna, starring directly at me, like she knows what I'm going to say.
"Anna....my....my girl....she died, just yesterday."
"I'm sorry to hear that..." Slendy says. His tentacles retracting behind his back.
"Oh, but thats not the end of it. I brought her back to life..." I say under my breath as I stare now at the floor.
"You what?! Jeff! That's dangerous! You know humans can-" He stops. "She didnt..."
I nod.
"Oh no.." He says, clenching his fists and lowering his head.
"But something else has happened. Somethings happening to me. To my body. This morning, as I tried to stop Anna from hurting her people, I felt....pain. And my heart started to beat. I dont know whats happening...." I say, feeling a rush of sadness run though me...weird...
