This story was made by me and a person I had met on a website called shamchat. The idea is to role play as anything as long as it is not you. I decided to be a Demon. I had met a person who was a river nymph. We ended up making a sad love story. The lines said by the demon is a little confusing because I wanted to write quickly and not keep them waiting. If you are reading this. It was nice talking with you! I would love to meet with you to make another collaboration. Even if you aren't the same person.
That's enough for now enjoy the more detailed/extended version of the story.

Backstory
When a person goes to hell they live and suffer for a couple of years depending on how bad they were. On the last day they are freed to the overworld to cause mayhem or do what ever they please. Then depending on what they do they will either be reincarnated or sent back to hell. If they were taught correctly in hell, they will just roam around enjoying the sights not causing mayhem. They are only given 12 hours. Once this time is up their body will just disappear to the reincarnation centre.

Demon had learnt more than the average hell inhabitant. He had learnt about the mythical creature and how the average mortal, of course, can not see them. Half bloods and pure blood creatures were the only ones that could see each other. Demon didn't want to see the cities so he just roamed the forrest. He then saw the river nymph and fell in love with her.

The sky tonight was as clear as the oceans. The stars shone in the sky like the gleam from a persons eye. Sounds of the river slowly flowing past soothes the forrest and it's inhabitants to sleep. Except two creatures, the pair wide awake enjoying the night sky as the other miss it. The river nymph had only just popped her head above the water to see the night sky clearly. She had moved to a rock on the riverside to enjoy the fresh air that floated by.

The demon was walking through the forrest enjoying the clean air, in like the air down in hell. Filled with dust ash and pain. The demon listened as the forrest creatures sang their offspring to sleep. He neared closer and closer to the river. In hopes of a fresh drink. A silhouette on the rivers edge stops him. A beauty unlike any he had see.

A mission had reached his mind. To spend his last hours with someone as beautiful as her. Why someone as beautiful when it can be her. The wind blew a fairly strong wind through the forrest moving the girl's hair. Light purple skin, she's was a river nymph. The demon had neatened himself up and materialised a simple outfit; a white shirt, a red plaid button down, dark blue jeans and red converse. He had continued to alter himself to avoid frightening the nymph. The demon had changed his skin tone similar to a light skinned human. The short demon horns and tail were irreversible.

Three hours. He only had three hours to impress this beautiful river nymph. I only had three hours to live screw it. Let's just do this. He thinks to himself. He choose to take the confident path and say hello.

The river nymph had sat on the rock for a few minutes when a voice from the forrest clearing spoke to her. "Hello little nymph." The river did not know who she was expecting but a demon, she never thought she'd expect. The river nymph stuttered on her greeting and slightly retreated into the waters.

"Will you allow one dance with me on the meadows of sleeping blue bells?" The demon had asked the river nymph. Such kindness from a demon had confused her. Such kindness should not be rejected though. She watched the denizen of hell before emerging, bolding her hand out for the demon to take. The demon gently took her hand and lifted her out of the water toward the patches of grass and blue bells, which were only a few feet from the river's edge. The river nymph pulled on the demon's hand to show her hesitation of leaving the water.

"It is okay, my dear. We will only be a few feet. Or would you rather we floated above the river?" The demon assured the little nymph. The nymph shook her head and allowed the demon to lead her away. "I must say, a dance with you is an honour." He says as they reached the centre of the small field. The girl's skin surprisingly dry for a river nymph. This did not change the demon's opinion of the beautiful girl.

The birds had woken up due to the slight aura of the river nymph. Once seeing the calmness of the situation they sang a simple waltz. As if saying trust this demon, he is nothing like the others. The song of the birds floated through the sky. The demon took his place and slowly lead her through the dance. "You'r beauty is one to behold, my dear. Why do you insist on hiding?"

The river nymph stumbles over her feet slightly due to her being a bit left footed. She says nothing and looks down at her feet, a dust of pink on her cheeks. The demon looks down at the river nymph lifting her face and moving the hair off the nymphs face. "Even flustered you are as beautiful as the moon." The demon says as he smiles at the nymph.

The nymph becomes more flustered and covers her face in his chest. A light laugh releases itself from the demons chest as they continue to dance in the night. Fireflies lighting up the place, almost as if guiding them across the field of blue bells. The girl rest her head and allows her self to be guided through the dance. Eyes closed and enjoying the birds' song and the soft wind blowing through the air.

The fireflies flee into the forrest and hide away for the night. The song of the birds changes into their normal haze of random songs. The demon looks down in sadness. Few minutes remain till the end of his life. The sun peaking over the top of the horizon. Taunting him of his last hours. Time to return the beauty to her natural home. I can not allow her to pass away here. The demon moves away from the river nymph. Causing the girl to become slightly confused.

"I'm sorry, my dear. It is time for me to leave and you to go home." The demon says looking down at the river nymph in sadness. The girl looks up at the demon in sadness. "If you will miss me that much, may I have a kiss of goodbye?" The demon asks the nymph. The nymph says no words. She simply reaches her arms around the demons neck, pushing off her toes a little. Allowing the their lips to touch.

The demon wraps his arms around the nymph's waist, deepening the kiss, only to break away a few second later. The demon pulls the girl towards the water's edge. The demon lets go of the nymph's hand and places a final kiss on her forehead. The demon steps away from the water's edge.

The water eagerly accepts her, washing over her feet. She reaches out for the demon's hand. The demon, experiencing a sort of new emotion, reaches out for her hand. The moment their skin touches the demon begins to burn away. The nymph reaches even further in sadness as the demon burns painlessly into oblivion. Before the ashes can reach the demon's mouth he says a simple sentence,

In another life, my beautiful queen.

The girl cries, reaching out for the ashes to make her partner whole once again. To no avail he is gone in the wind. The birds, as if affected by the emotions of the nymph, sing a sad song. The words echo off the trees, almost as if taunting her. The nymph drops her arms in sadness.
