Chapter 1: Getting Dolled Up. ;1

Maia's P.O.V

Today's the best day of my life. I'm sooooooo excited. Me and my best friends are going to the Mindless Behavior concert. Although we didn't get V.I.P I have a feeling that we'll meet them.

"Maia!" my mother called me from downstairs.

"Yes." I responded as I ran down the stairs.

I was filled with glee. My mom and I were going to pick up my friends Alexis, Kendra, and Nakiyah so we could all get ready together. I raced outside and yelled "shotgun" as my 3 little sisters followed. We drive down the highway to Kendra's house she was waiting at her front step with an immense amount of happiness showing on her face, I hoped in the back with her and we began to discuss our outfits.

"What are you going to wear?" she inquired.

"I don't know yet, that's why I need you guys," I responded.

We began to drive to the other side of town where we would soon pick up Nakyiah and Alexis. We reached Alexis' house first and she ran out of her front door and nearly tripped over her flower pots. What an epic sight that would've been to she her fall.

"Heyyyyy." she greeted.

"What's good in the hood?" Kendra and I chimed.

She smushed her way into to the back. We were then off to Nakyiah's house. Finally, the last stop before we would be ready for the best night of out lives.

"Deuces" screamed Nakyiah as she sprinted out of her side door.

As soon as she got in the car we all began to giggle. For what reason I'm not sure but I assume that it was out of excitement. As we pulled into my drive way, I swung open the door and sprinted into my house, up the stairs, and into my room. I immediately went into my closet searching for the cutest outfit I owned. The girls soon followed and the dolling up process began.
